INFORMATION
Please note that when carrying heavy objects with full flexion/extension,
a torque moment can result causing the hand to rotate unintentionally.
Please be aware that the hand can flex unintentionally, if the flexion
switch is pressed by accidentally.
2.4 Function
The 10V40 MyoWrist 2Act is suitable for hand sizes 7, 7¼, 7¾ and 8¼.
It can be used on both sides. Individual flexion and extension of this wrist
unit can be locked in 5 different positions (in increments of 20°).
The 10V40 MyoWrist 2Act is unlocked by pressing the release button
(fig. 1). An integrated ratchet mechanism holds the hand until it is locked
in the desired position and thus facilitates exact positioning. Flexion and
extension are performed passively. Stop pressing the release button to
relock the joint.
