DMC plus and Digital Twin System Electric Hand – hand size 7
To loosen the hand cable in the mechanism, the control electronics must
be removed.
1. Loosen the attachment screw of the control electronics (fig. 15).
2. Carefully unplug the hand cable (fig. 16).
3. Apply a screwdriver behind the plug connector and turn with light pres-
sure (fig. 17). This will press the control electronics out of the holder.
4. Unsolder the hand cable from the plug using the 711M12 Soldering Jig
(fig. 14). Pull out the exposed cable along with the 9E70 Cable Bush-
ing (will be needed later) through the chassis on the side of the plug.

NOTICE
Risk of damage as a result of using an improper adhesive. Using
an unapproved adhesive can lead to malfunction/damage when torque
moments are transferred and cause the hand to rotate unintentionally.
To ensure a solid bond, 636K14 Loctite 601 Adhesive is to be used.
NOTICE
Risk of defects as a result of improperly prepared bonding surfaces.
To ensure a solid bond, the respective areas must be degreased with
acetone before applying the adhesive.
Once you have degreased the areas, do not touch them anymore and
immediately apply the adhesive to the surfaces after the acetone has
dryed.
INFORMATION
Follow all processing and safety instructions of the adhesive manufac-
turer.
Assembly of the 10V40 MyoWrist 2Act, of the 9S266 Chassis with Quick-
Disconnect Wrist Unit and of the 9E397 Coaxial Bushing is the same with
all 8E41 Ottobock System Electric Hands. The only difference for the dif-
