Note!
Communication modules can be supplied by an internal or external voltage source. An
external voltage source is only required if communication to a node is to be maintained
in the case of a switch−off or if the node fails.
Mounting
1. Set the type of voltage supply via the jumper 0.
– Position I: external voltage supply (delivery status; +24 V DC ±10%, max. 100 mA per
module)
– Position II: voltage supply via the internal voltage source
2. Plug the communication module 1 to the AIF interface on the controller.
3. If the communication module is provided with a safety screw 2, screw the module together
with the controller.
