Replacement of the motor including the frequency convertor

ATTENTION
CAUTION
Tighten the motor fastening nuts after 24 hours in operation. (Torque of 12 Nm).

Before replacing the motor, the plug has to be disconnected from the mains.
Secure it so that it cannot be switched in again!

Disassembly:
 Unplug the mains lead (pos. 10).
 Loosen the front fastening screws (pos. 1) at the
top (short) and bottom (long). (There is no need to
loosen the fastening screws in the middle on the
front panel).
 Remove the front panel (pos. 2).
 Disconnect the motor control line connector
(pos. 4) from the board.
 Disconnect all the wires from the connector for the
motor control line and remove the connectors.

 Loosen the cable connection (pos. 9) and remove
the motor control line (pos. 8) upwards.
 The 4 motor fastening nuts (pos. 7) have to be
loosened crosswise and unscrewed.
 Remove the 4 washers (pos. 7).
 Pull the motor (pos. 6) off upwards.
ATTENTION
Installation:
 Clean the splined shaft (pos. 13) and housing
flange (pos. 11).
 Coat the motor shaft (pos. 12) and splined shaft
with Teflon grease.
 Place the motor shaft right onto splined shaft and
press softly until the flange is reached. Do not set
the motor on its edge!
 Turn the motor in a way that the frequency
convertor points forward, in the direction of the
front panel.
 Place on washers and fastening nuts (pos. 7) and
tighten them crosswise (tightening torque of 12
Nm).
 Guide the motor control line (pos. 8) through the
cable screw fitting (pos. 9), and connect all the
wires to the motor control line connector (pos. 4)
following the colour coding (see Fig. 10.9).
 Attach the motor control line connector onto the
board.
 Re-attach the front panel (pos. 2).
 Insert the front fastening screws (pos. 1) on the
top (short) and bottom (long) and tighten them
crosswise (torque of 3 Nm).
Attach the mains lead (pos. 10).
