Operation

9.1

Operating mode

By pressing the up and down buttons ( and ) simultaneously, you can toggle between
internal and external 4 - 20 mA operating modes, and the corresponding LED
(see chapter 5.2, pos.
9.1.1

Internal operating mode

If 'internal' operating mode is set ("internal" LED is illuminated, see chapter

9.1.1.1 Metering frequency setting (metering quantity)
By pressing the up button  or the down button , the % shown on the display changes
accordingly (setting range: 1 - 100 %).
The adjustment can also be made while the pump is running, whereby the metering
frequency follows the altered value immediately (there is no need to save the new value).


9.1.2 External 4 – 20 mA operating mode
If 'external 4-20 mA' operating mode is selected ("4-20 mA" LED is illuminated,
(see chapter 5.2, pos. 4) the pump runs at a metering frequency of between 0 and 100 %
(4 – 20 mA = 0 – 100 %) after the metering lock (release) contact is closed
(see chapter 7.2.3.1) depending on the level of the current signal created
(see chapter 7.2.3.2).
The active metering frequency is represented, on the one hand, as a % on the display and,
on the other hand, by an on/off interval on the metering mode / operating state / metering

Test function

While the TEST button is pressed in, the pump runs at a metering frequency of 100 % in the
default metering mode (see chapter 9.3).
