Follow all instructions and warnings included with the
cleaning agents.
Area
Cleaning agent
Stainless steel
Hot soapy water:
Clean with a dish cloth and then dry
with a soft cloth.
Clean stainless steel surfaces in the
grind direction only.
Special stainless steel cleaning prod-
ucts are available from our after-sales
service or from specialist retailers.
Apply a very thin layer of the cleaning
product with a soft cloth.
Painted surfaces
Hot soapy water:
Clean using a damp dish cloth and dry
with a soft cloth/towel.
Do not use any stainless steel cleaners.
Aluminium and plas-
Glass cleaner:

Clean with a soft cloth.
Glass
Glass cleaner:
Clean with a soft cloth. Do not use a
glass scraper.
Controls
Hot soapy water:
Clean using a damp dish cloth and dry
with a soft cloth/towel.
Risk of electric shock caused by pene-
trating moisture.
Risk of damage to the electronics from
penetrating moisture. Never clean oper-
ating controls with a wet cloth.
Do not use any stainless steel cleaners.

Removing the grease filters

Warning – Risk of injury!
Oscillating movement of the appliance may result in
injury. Do not do anything that makes the appliance swing
to and fro. When moving the appliance up and down,
leave sufficient distance to the appliance.
Risk of injury!
The filter cover may swing out. Always open and close the
filter cover slowly. Ensure that the filter cover does not
swing out after it is released.
Risk of injury!
Risk of trapping body parts when opening and closing the
filter cover. Do not reach into the area behind the filter
cover and keep your hands away from the hinges.
Risk of injury!
If appliances supported by cables are permitted to swing
to and fro, this may overload the fastening elements. This
could cause the appliance to fall off the wall. Do not do
anything that makes the appliance swing to and fro.
Risk of injury!
Objects left on the hob may tip over when the filter cover
is opened. This can cause burns. Clear the hob before
opening the filter cover.
Cleaning and maintenance

Press down on the locks on the filter cover.
Note: The filter cover is heavy. Take the filter cover
by two hands and hold in place.

Open the filter cover fully and without pulling on it.

Open the locking mechanism on the grease filter.
Note: Do not bend the grease filter to avoid
causing damage.

Remove the grease filter from the holder.
Notes
Fat may accumulate in the bottom of the grease
filter.
Hold the filter level to prevent fat from dripping
out.

Clean the accessible parts of the housing. Clean
the inside of the appliance.

Clean the grease filter and let it dry before refitting.
7
Clean the appliance support cables.
Note: Individual wires may protrude out of the
cables.
