Om de doeltreffendheid van het ASR-
systeem te behouden na elke vervanging
van een of beide banden, moet een kali-
breringsprocedure van het systeem uit-
gevoerd worden op een vlak en recht stuk
weg op de volgende wijze. Het verzoek
voor de activering van de procedure (van
stap 1 tot 4) moet gecompleteerd worden
binnen 60 sec vanaf de inschakeling van
de motor.
• De fase van de diagnostiek van de sys-
temen ASR en ABS moet compleet uit-
gevoerd zijn: daarom moet, nadat de
sleutel op ON gezet wordt, eventjes har-
der dan 5 km/u worden gereden tot de
controlelamp ABS en de icoon ASR uit-
gaan.
• Schakel het ASR-systeem uit; druk
daarvoor op de speciale knop op het
stuur « » en controleer of de icoon voor
uitschakeling van de ASR « » brandt.
• Laat de motor tenminste 3 seconden
lang stationair draaien.
• Druk minstens 4 seconden op de knop
activering/deactivering ASR « » en knijp
tegelijkertijd een van de twee remhen-
dels in. De activering van de procedure
wordt bevestigd door de ASR-icoon « »
die gaat branden en langzaam knippert.
• Houd een constante snelheid van
30÷40 km/u minstens 7÷8 seconden aan.
• Het einde van de procedure wordt ge-
meld door de ASR-icoon « » die ophoudt
met knipperen.

In order to maintain the effectiveness of
the ASR system following the replace-
ment of one or both tyres a calibration
procedure of the system must be per-
formed as follows on a straight flat stretch
of road. Please note that the request for
activation of the procedure (steps 1 to 4)
must be completed within 60 sec from ig-
nition on the engine.
• It is necessary that the diagnostic phase
of the ASR systems and ABS is com-
plete: for this purpose, after the key ON,
ride a short distance above 5 km/h and
wait for the flashing of the ABS warning
light and ASR icon to stop.
• Turn the ASR system off by pressing the
button « » on the handlebar and check
that the ASR disabling icon « » is on.
• Allow the engine to idle for at least 3
seconds.
• Press the ASR on/off button « » and
one of the two brake levers simultane-
ously for at least 4 seconds. The activa-
tion process will be confirmed by the ASR
icon « » turning on with slow flashing.
• Accelerate to a constant speed of 30 to
40 km/h and maintain it for at least 7 to 8
seconds.
• The end of the procedure will be indica-
ted by the flashing ASR icon « ».
• Once the procedure is complete it is
necessary to turn off the vehicle panel
