Het ASR-systeem is een hulpinrichting bij
het rijden die de bestuurder tijdens het
versnellen helpt, in het bijzonder op weg-
dekken met weinig grip of in condities die
onverwachts slippen van het achterwiel
kunnen veroorzaken. De ASR treedt in
die hachelijke situaties automatisch in
werking, reduceert het vermogen dat van
de motor komt binnen de limiet bepaald
door de gripconditie en levert een aan-
zienlijke bijdrage tot het behoud van de
voertuigstabiliteit.
