Le lamelle (41) e il pistone (39) determinano il freno in compressione.
Qualora fosse necessario è possibile modifi care il comportamento
della forcella in fase di compressione sostituendo le lamelle (41) ed il
pistone (39) con elementi aventi differenti caratteristiche. La lamella
di by-pass (38) è necessaria per il funzionamento della sospensione
ma non contribuisce alla taratura. Non sostituire per alcun motivo la
lamella (38) con altra avente caratteristiche differenti.

TTENZIONE
Utilizzare solamente lamelle e pistoni originali Marzocchi,
non modifi care i componenti.
•
Se necessario sostituire l'anello o-ring del pistone (40).
•
Installare sulla valvola di compressione la lamella o il pacco di
lamelle che regolano la compressione (41) ed il pistone (39)
completo anello o-ring (40).
•
Inserire nel dado (36) la molla (26), la lamella di by-pass (38).
•
Tenendo in compressione la molla avvitare il dado (36) sulla
valvola di compressione (43) prestando la massima attenzione
affi nché vada a battuta nell'apposita sede e la lamella sia
libera di fare la propria corsa.

TTENZIONE
Il pistone deve essere orientato in maniera tale che i fori con
diametro minore siano rivolti verso le lamelle di taratura (39).
•
Bloccare, in morsa, la valvola di compressione (43) evitando di
eccedere nel serraggio.
•
Servendosi di una chiave adeguata (12 oppure 13 mm a
seconda del tipo di dado installato) serrare il dado (36) alla
coppia prescritta (vedi Tabella 1 - Coppie di serraggio).

OTE
Washers (41) and piston (39) are responsible for the compression
braking. Replacing washers (41) and piston (39) with other parts
with different characteristics, lets you change the fork behaviour
during compression if needed. The by-pass washers (38) are
responsible for rebound braking. Whenever necessary, fork
behaviour can be modifi ed during compression by replacing the
washers (38) with others having different features.

ARNING
Use only Marzocchi original washers and pistons. Do not
modify the components.
•
Replace the piston O-ring (40) if necessary.
•
Install the washer or washers' stack which regulate compression
(41) and the piston (39) with O-ring (40) onto the bottom valve.
•
Insert the spring (26) and the by-pass washer (38) into nut (36).
•
Keeping the spring compressed, tighten the nut (36) onto the
compression valve (43) being very careful that it goes right
into its housing and the washer is free to run its course.

ARNING
The piston must be placed in a way that the holes with smaller
diameter are oriented towards the setting washers (39).
•
Clamp the compression valve (43) in the vice without tightening.
•
Using a proper spanner (12 or 13 mm according to the
installed nut) tighten the nut (36) up to the required torque
(see Table 1 – Tightening torques).
