Proper handling of easy to
maintain battery
The battery is the energy supply for the
stacker truck and must therefore be
handled with care. Always be cautious
during maintenance and service of the
battery. Do not open low-maintenance
batteries.
Us the batteries for the intended use only. Improper
use of the stacker truck can lead to defects very
quickly and is not covered by the warranty.

Rules of conduct

Fire, smoking, open light, explosive gases,
flames and sparks are strictly prohibited during
the handling of batteries. Escaping gases can
pose a fire and explosion hazard.
Never leave the battery open or lie around
unattended.
Always check the battery connection before
clamping the battery to a consumer. A mix-up
of the connections can lead to a short circuit,
spark formation and to severe damages.
Never touch the connections on the battery.
Use adequate tools for work on the battery
only.
Charger
Basic procedure when handling the charger:
To charge the battery, use the integrated
charger only.
Do not dismantle and try to repair the
charger. This will cause your warranty to
become void.
Continuous charging of multiple batteries shall lead
to overheating and destruction of the charger. After
each charging process wait for one hour until the
charger has cooled off. Then you can use the
charger again.

Initial charging of the battery

When charging the battery for the first time, it is
imminent to charge it at an interval. The charging
process will last about eight to twelve hours. When
the process is completed the charger will switch off
automatically.
