Hydraulic oil and gear oil

Figure 14 Hydraulic pump with tank and gears

Hydraulic oil

The hydraulic oil tank is located on the left
underneath the plastic covering. It is a steel
tank with attached pump. The oil filler is
closed with a red cap. Remove this to top up
the oil if necessary. The oil level must also be
between the minimum and maximum level mark.
When adding hydraulic oil, always make sure not to
overfill the tank. Fill up only when the lift mast is
completely lowered.
Use hydraulic oil approved by HanseLifter only. For
detailed
specifications,
"Operating material" table below.
During operation, you can generally assume that
there is sufficient hydraulic oil in the tank, if the
stacker truck can reach its maximum lifting height. If
the stacker truck no longer reaches its maximum
lifting height, the pump must no longer be operated!

Gear oil

The motor, drive wheel and gears form a
single unit.
The gear oil must be changed every 1,000
operating hours or once a year.
Use hydraulic oil approved by HanseLifter only. For
detailed
specifications,

Checking the battery

The IMOW-E-BF-06 series stacker is delivered with
low-maintenance or maintenance-free lead gel
batteries. These batteries do not need to be
regularly topped up to the correct fluid level.
However, these batteries must also be checked
regularly by visual inspection.
Check the batteries at least once a week:
Tighten and correct the connections
Tighten and correct the securing elements
Deformations of the battery itself
If any defects arise during the inspection, they must
be rectified immediately by a competent person.
Caution
If you notice deformations such as bulges or
cracks in the battery, the stacker truck must not
be used any more.
Be careful when handling the battery acid or the
gel electrolyte of the battery.
