Daily inspection

Caution
Clean the stacker truck only, if it is switched off.
Never reach into moveable components or
shearing points. Watch out for your own safety
at all times during the work.

Steering

Slowly start up the stacker truck.
Move the drawbar all the way to the end
stop in each direction. The steering must be
easily operable and jolt-free.

Brake test

Drive the stacker truck slowly and press the driving
switch in the opposite direction to brake. The
braking effect must effective for any speed.
The stacker truck may not be moved when
switched off.

Battery maintenance

Keep the surface of the battery clean and dry. If it
shows signs of corrosion or wear, replace the
battery. Make sure that the connecting terminals
are clean and attached tightly. If the stacker truck is
not used for a period of 30 days or longer, the
negative cable should be clamped to prevent the
battery from discharging.
Caution
Avoid contact of the battery acid with your skin,
eyes, any fabrics or painted surfaces.
Caution
Protect the battery from open flames or electric
sparks. Oxyhydrogen gas generated by the
battery is explosive.

Fuses

The fuses are located at the main plate of electronic
components, underneath the plastic covering. All
fuses are labelled, and must be replaced by
comparable fuses only.
Prior to replacing a fuse, make sure that the
problem indeed stems from the fuse.
Make sure that the fuses used have the same
ampere rating as the damaged one being replaced.

Caution
Be sure to turn off the key switch and
disconnect the battery using the emergency
stop switch before working on the fuses.

Cooling

The control system dissipates the heat generated
during operation via the frame of the stacker truck.
For this purpose, the control unit is mounted with
heat conducting paste. The heat-conducting paste
must not be removed under any circumstances.
Damage caused by overheating is not covered by
the warranty.
