START-UP PROCEDURE

EPO button and phases cyclic direction
Before starting the UPS, check that:
the "EPO" emergency stop button, if installed, is not pressed; on the contrary,
1)
bring it to the rest position;
2) the cyclic direction of the input and output phases is correct.
BCB and BCBS switches
Closure of the BCB or BCBS switches, if carried out before being requested by the
front panel, can seriously damage the equipment and/or the battery.
Cabling of auxiliary contacts
During electrical installation, pay attention to cabling of the auxiliary contacts on the
disconnectors for manual bypass, output and battery which should be connected to
the specific terminals of the UPS. By doing so, the control logic acquires the status of
switches to guide the operator during the start and manual bypass operations.
System start-up is completely guided; the information available on the touchscreen display
allows you to understand the various phases and carry out the necessary operations in the
correct sequence.
It is however required that the manoeuvres on the sectioning devices are only carried out
under the supervision and control of staff authorised to operate on electrical circuits.
Avail of qualified staff only
All the electrical manoeuvres must be carried out by qualified and trained staff.
