4.5.2 IOBM
The IOBM is equipped with a terminal board to which external controls/components can be
connected specifically planned to improve the safety and reliability of the device.

4.5.2.1 Terminal board X11 – Backfeed protection
Auxiliary contact of the release coil on the SBCBS switch; terminals X11-F/N.
These contacts must be connected to the release coil of the SBCBS switch, if present. When
the system detects a hazardous backfeed voltage on the bypass, an impulse is generated
capable of releasing the SBCBS switch. Its reset is carried out by the operator once the fault is
fixed. For further information, refer to the chapter "4.2 PROTEZIONE CONTRO IL RITORNO DI
TENSIONE (BACKFEED)".
4.5.2.2 Terminal board X12 – External synchronism
External synchronism contact; terminals X12-F/N.
These terminals can have a 230Vac voltage inserted which would synchronise the entire
system. Pay attention to correct polarity (Phase-Neutral) when the source is connected.
To allow the system to follow the external source applied, the EEPROM settings of the
system must be changed. This operation can only be carried out by qualified staff. For further
information, contact technical support whose details are available in the "Contacts" section".
4.5.2.3 Terminal board X10 - Auxiliary contacts
This terminal board to which external controls/components can be connected specifically
planned to improve the safety and reliability of the device.
➢ External manual bypass (MBCBS);
➢ External Normal/Bypass selector;
➢ External output switch (OCBS).
➢ System remote emergency stop button (EPO);
➢ Battery auxiliary contact (BCBS);
➢ Diesel generator
