The batteries are outside the system and you are advised to install them when the UPS can
charge them. Remember that if the battery is held without the necessary charge for a period
over 2-3 months, it may irreparably deteriorate.
Battery switch auxiliary contact
The following is necessary for correct operation of the UPS:
• for single battery configuration: connect the auxiliary contact of the battery
main switch (BCBS) to the terminals X10-9/10 of the IOBM.
• for distributed battery configuration: connect the auxiliary contact of the
battery switch (BCB) if external, to the terminals X10-9/10 of the relevant
Power Unit.
