Metal surfaces on the back of the device (e.g. heat
sink) can heat up to 100 °C and can cause burns.
Do not touch metal surfaces

After switching off the device, always wait for a

period of 30 minutes before touching any
components

Preventive maintenance

Risk of injury due to incorrect maintenance
Incorrect maintenance can cause serious injury or
death.
 Do not open the device
Do not make any changes to the device

Do not use compressed air

Do not use a pressure washer to clean the device

 Do not use hose water to clean the device
Material damage due to unsuitable cleaning agents/
cleaning methods
The use of unsuitable cleaning agents and/or cleaning
methods can cause damage to the string inverter.
Be careful not to damage the device before and

during cleaning
Only use water and cleaning agents that are suitable

for plastic, rubber and aluminium
Do not use any abrasive or sharp agents

 Do not use wire brushes
Do not use a pressure washer to clean the device

The Bosch BPT-S series string inverters are designed
to be maintenance-free.
