Special climatic conditions
Condiciones climáticas especiales
In regions where heavy winds,
typhoons, hurricanes and storms
are usual, it is necessary to use the
special TypHooN SET .
The typhoon set contains:
1 . Plates (J) of 1150mm
2. Plates (D) of 915mm (included in
the support base)
3. Short fixing plates (L)
4. Long screws - small step nuts
5. Tape of metal belt.
6. Moly plugs - screw nuts
Before you start installing the
appliance, you should check the
following:
• For installation on a flat surface,
check the density, hardness and
strength of the concrete.
• For installation on a sloping roof,
additional rafters must be installed
under the tiles, so that the distance
between the rafters doesn't exceed
50 cm, and their strength must
be good enough for the safe
installation of the appliance.
ΝΟΤE: The typhoon set is not
included in the systems and it is
sent upon request.
assembling Instructions
To assemble the support base
follow
the
same
assembly
procedures, mentioned on pages
10-13 (for flat or sloping surfaces) .
For the connection of the plates U,
Z and B, use the long screws - small
step nuts .
Then adjust the metal belts around
the storage tank.
After you have placed the storage
tank on the support base, adjust
the metal belt connecting the one
end of the belt between the screw-
nuts, which tighten the plates U and
Z and the other end of the metal
belt between the screw-nuts which
tighten the plates U and B. (see
detail a & b).
attention
Use the second nuts (o) to tighten
the metal belts. Tighten well the
metal belts on the storage tank.
When you have to install the
appliance on a flat roof, you must
use the two plates J, screwing
them on the plates C.
Screw the short plates L on the
plates J. To screw the plates J on
the plates C use the long screws -
small step nuts.
Screw the short fixing plates L
and plates a on the roof, using
the moly plugs of the typhoon
set, as well as the 4 screw nuts
included in the plastic bag with
the fittings. The plastic bag with
the connection fittings is packed
in the support base carton.
For the safer installation of your
appliance, we recommend you to
secure the storage tank on the
support base using more mettal
belts than the ones illustrated in
the photos.
When the TYPHOON SET is used, the face-plate (20A) is not placed

For installation on a sloping roof, we
recommend you to use more metal
belts, securing both the storage tank
and the support base, by screwing
them on the timbers under the tiles.
You can also use the four D plates,
by screwing them under the timbers.
INSUraNCE oF THE appLIaNCE
In regions where typhoons, tornados,
hurricanes ...etc occur and hail is
larger than 20mm in diameter, we
recommend you to issue insurance
for your appliance.
En regiones en las que son normales
los vientos muy fuertes, los tifones,
los huracanes o las tormentas
tropicales es preciso instalar, como
refuerzo de la instalación del equipo,
el KIT aNTI-TorNaDo .
El KIT aNTI-TorNaDo consta de:
1. Refuerzos laterales J de 1150 mm
2. Pletinas D de 915 mm (Incluidos
en la base de suporto)
3. Escuadras de fijación L
4. Tornillos largos con tuercas
5. Cinturón metálico
6. Tornillos para suelo y tacos
• Antes de proceder con la instalación
es imprescindible controlar la
consistencia
y
dureza
del
hormigón.
• En los tejados se debe controlar la
distancia
y
capacidad
resistencia de la vigas y, si fuese
necesario,
instalar
vigas
refuerzo adicionales que no disten
más de 50 cm entre ellas.
NoTa: El typhoon set no está
incluido en el sistema. Se envía
sólo su pedido.
Montaje de la estructura soporte
Para el montaje debe seguir lo
indicado al respecto en las páginas
10-13, según proceda de acuerdo
con la superficie elegida.
En las conexiones de U, Z y B debe
utilizar los tornillos largos, en vez de
los standard, tal como indican las
figuras .
Coloque
el
cinturón
metálico
alrededor del tanque.
El cinturón metálico se atornilla por
un extremo a la conexión de U y Z y
por el otro a la conexión de U y B,
(ver detailles a y b).

Utilice la segunda tuerca "o" para
apretar los cinturones metálicos.
Las dos tuercas de cada conexión
deben
estar
perfectamente
apretadas.

Los refuerzos J se atornillan a la
terraza por medio de las escuadras
de fijación L.

correcto para los tacos. Una vez
introducidos los tornillos de
suelo y apretados deben quedar
seguros, sin holgura alguna.

reforzada puede sustituir los
tornillos de suelo por tornillos de
expansión que no requieren tacos
de plástico. asimismo puede
utilizar
cinturones
metálicos
adicionales.
para la instalación en tejado debe
utilizar las cuatro pletinas D que
forman parte del kit anti-tornado.
Con ellas podrá reforzar la
sujeción de la estructura al tejado.
Con estas cuatro piezas y con las
cuatro pletinas D standard del
U

equipo
dispone
de
elementos para distribuir la carga
a diferentes vigas.
Todos los elementos y accesorios
del kit anti-tornado se sirven
embalados en una caja de cartón
más

En
regiones
con
frecuentes
fenómenos climatológicos adversos,
tales como huracanes, tormentas
tropicales, granizo de más de 20
mm de diámetro, vientos fuertes
racheados, es aconsejable el incluir
el equipo en el seguro general de la
vivienda o el contratar una póliza de
seguro
específica
para
posibles daños.
