temperature. Storage temperature between 0 °C and
+ 40 °C.
7.2 Disposal
Old devices must be disposed of in accordance with the
usual national and regional laws, directives, and guidelines.
Old devices and batteries must not be disposed of via the
household waste!

Coded resistor
Miswiring detection
Risk of arcing
Short circuit between
CP and PE
In-cable control and protecting
device
Electronic module located bet-
ween infrastructure and electric
vehicle to increase the level
of protection and control the
charging process.
Pulse-width modulation
Mode of transmission of the
communication information
The charging connector has
a resistor coding that can be
analyzed by the electric vehicle.
The resistance value defines the
maximum permissible current
of the charging cable in terms
of the cable's cross section.
The miswiring detection system
monitors the wall socket.
The incoming PE (ground
conductor) and the potential of
the wiring (phase and neutral
wire) are checked.
If the plug is inserted or
removed during the charging
process (with force applied),
there may be arcing that could
damage the plug and socket.
Short circuit between the
communication cable (CP) and
the ground conductor (PE).
This fault means that the
vehicle cannot communicate
with the charging module.
Charging is not possible.
