CLEANING AND CARE

1.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
2.
Wipe off the baking surfaces with a damp cloth or use a soft brush to clean
the recesses.
3.
You can clean the removable carrier plate in warm washing-up water. After
cleaning the carrier plate, dry it thoroughly; do not insert the carrier plate
into the appliance unless it is completely dry. You can also clean the carrier
plate in the dishwasher. Place the carrier plate in the upper basket of the
dishwasher only, and select a dishwashing program with low temperature to
prevent damage to the coating.
4.
Never use sharp or hard objects to clean the baking pan or to remove the
cake. Hard or sharp objects scratch the non-stick coating.
5.
If cake residues still adhere, drizzle a little vegetable oil on the dried cake
residues. Let the oil soften the cake residues for approx. 5 minutes, then
remove the cake residues with a paper towel.
6.
You can use a toothbrush, for example, to remove batter residues from the
outer part of the housing.
7.
Clean the outer housing by wiping it off with a damp cloth and letting it air
dry.
8.
Moreover, do not use any abrasive scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects,
hot cleaning agents or disinfectants, since they can damage the appliance.
9.
Prior to first use the appliance must be completely dry.
10. To save space when storing the appliance, turn the baking pan vertically, and
flip the handle in.
11. Select a dust-free, dry storage location.
Tip: Keep the appliance packaging and
store the cake baker in this box when the
cake baker is not in use.
Before cleaning, always turn off the appliance and unplug it from
the electrical outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
Never attempt to pull the baking pan out of the suspension
element. The appliance could be damaged in this process. Do
not take the appliance apart to clean it!
