7 - Loosen fittings (C).
8 - Rotate engine ignition key to po-
sition 1 to allow the opening of sole-
noid of the pump.
9 - Rotate and keep ignition key in
position 2 (the engine rotates idle) to
discharge the air from the pump and
from feeding pipes.
Release ignition key when the
fuel comes out of feeding pipes.
10- Tighten fittings (C).
11- Wipe out the fuel residues be-
fore starting the engine.
12- Start the engine and run it at minimum
speed for a few minutes.
Important
In case the engine does not start, repeat
the described procedure and, if neces-
sary, contact an Assistance Centre au-
thorised by the manufacturer.
13- Stop the motor when you finish this op-
eration.
Engines equipped with rotating injection

The operation must be carried out only by
means of the battery-operated starter mo-
tor.
Important
To avoid problems, before carrying out
the operation, make sure that the batter-
ies have a suitable state of charge.
1- Turn off the engine and remove the igni-
tion key.
2 - Let the engine cool down adequately to
avoid being burnt.

3 - Prepare a container of appropriate ca-
pacity.
4 - Completely fill new filter with fuel (with a
container).
Important
Use clean and impurity-free fuel.
5 - Install fuel filter in the special seat (See
"Fuel filter replacement.").
6 - Loosen fittings (C).
7 - Rotate engine ignition key 1 to position
to allow the opening of solenoid of the
pump.
8 - Rotate and keep ignition key in position
2 (the engine rotates idle) to discharge the
air from the pump and from feeding pipes.
Release ignition key (C) when the fuel
comes out of feeding pipes.
9 - Wipe out the fuel residues before start-
ing the engine.
10- Start the engine and run it at minimum
speed for a few minutes.
