Log Fireplace
The cast iron fireplace has a dual role: fireplace and grill.
The cast iron sides feature two guide-rails at different heights to place the barbecue gridiron.
Note: The barbecue gridiron is provided and can be found inside the oven.
The base (gridiron support) and the fireplace grill are removable and can be dismantled for
easy cleaning.
The ash pan if located beneath them.
Roasting oven
The oven is made of stainless steel.
The sides feature supports for oven trays.
To remove the tray, push it slightly up to free it
from the lower holes and then, tilt it slightly back
into the oven and slide down. This will free the
tray completely from its fixing elements. Once
removed it will be easy to clean.
The oven comes with one stainless steel
roasting tray, one glass-ceramic tray and two
gridirons (one for use in the fireplace, as
mentioned above).
Roasting tray
Your oven is equipped with a removable cast iron
roasting tray at the bottom of the oven. This tray
has been enamelled in glass porcelain suitable
for use with food products. It can be used to cook
all kinds of grilled dishes. Under the tray, there is
a gap that collects all the juices produced during
the cooking process and which can be cleaned
without effort by removing the roasting tray.
Storage area:
In the case of stand-alone ovens, the lower gaps have been used to create a storage space.
The said space has a door in the Santacruz model and is open in the Aranda model.
The said storage area is not recommended for objects that may be damaged by high
temperatures. Whenever the oven is in use, use a protective glove to remove items from the
storage area.
Deflector plate:
The top of the fireplace is protected by a stainless steel
deflector. This protects the base of the enamelled oven
when the fireplace is used as a heater. If it is only used
for roasting, you may remove the said plate to increase
the performance of the gridiron. Do this by slightly
loosening the three screws that fix it to the roof, slide it
forward and it will slide down through the gaps. If you
wish to install the deflector, perform the same steps in
the opposite order.
