14.7 Event Triggering

You are not only able to manually activate wireless switching modules (activation/deactivation via alarm
control centre or telephone), you can also allow them to be activated automatically. This is done by the
option of programming in an event trigger. This means that the wireless switching module will be activat-
ed as soon as a sensor is activated.
The following options are available for this:
a) Activation
The wireless switching module is activated as soon as a door is opened. E.g. if you enter a room the
light goes on automatically.
b) Deactivation
The wireless switching module is deactivated as soon as a door is opened. E.g. if you leave the house
or room the light goes off automatically as after the door is closed.
An event trigger can only be programmed to sensors that are in the same zone as the wireless switching
module. E.g. you can programme that a wireless switching module is to be activated as soon as one of
the sensors in zone 1 is activated.
The factory setting is for no event triggers to be programmed.
