11.6 System Error

The alarm system constantly reports its status and that of the programmed sensors. As soon as system
errors occur the alarm system will also inform you of these. The possible system errors are as follows:
a) "Phone Line Error" (check the cable connection between the internal alarm dialler and the telephone
line socket)
b) Sensor error (loss of wireless signal of a sensor).
c) Low battery charge - alarm system
d) Low battery charge - sensors
Explanation:
a) "Phone Line Error"
If this error message is emitted, there is a problem with the cable connection between the internal
alarm dialler and the telephone line socket. The „PWR" LED (7) and the „PROG" LED (9) flash in this
case. You hear the voice message "Phone Line Error".
If this error message occurs, try the following:
• Ensure that the telephone cable is correctly inserted in both the alarm system and the telephone
socket of your telephone line.
• In case of doubt, attach a normal telephone to your telephone line socket to check the correct
functioning of the telephone line, so that the programmed telephone numbers can be dialled in the
case of an alarm. If there is no function, contact your telephone line provider.
b) Sensor error
This error occurs if the alarm system no longer finds the wireless signal to a sensor.
In this case the corresponding „zone state LED" (1) is lit and the voice message „zone X sensor Y
error" can be heard.
If this error message occurs, try the following:
• Check whether the sensor is located at the mounting location where you placed it and whether the
sensor has any external damage.
• If the sensor is not visibly damaged, activate the sensor and check whether the alarm system reacts
to it.
• If the alarm system does not react, then bring the sensor closer to the alarm control centre. Activate
the sensor. It is possible that the sensor is out of the range of the alarm control centre. If this is the
case, please install the sensor closer to the alarm control centre. Also ensure that no potential
sources of interference (concrete ceilings, thermally insulated windows, mirrors etc) are affecting the
range at the mounting location.
