• Find a suitable mounting position for the wireless
movement sensor in the room to be monitored.
• Position the holder on a suitable location on a wall.
• Use a sharp pencil to mark the drill holes for the
mounting position through the screw holes.
• Depending on the background/wall condition, drill
holes and fit appropriate wall plugs.
• Now attach the holder to the wall with the screws.
Carrying out a walk test
In order to test the function of the wireless movement sensor and to set the optimal detection area we
recommend carrying out a so-called „walk test" after successful mounting.
To do so proceed as follows:
• Remove the wireless movement sensor from the
mounting holder.
• Remove the battery compartment cover screw on
the back of the device.
• Remove the cover of the battery compartment.
• Insert the 9 V block battery supplied.
• Slide the battery compartment cover back on and
reattach the screw.
• Slide the movement sensor onto the mounting
holder.
• Position the movement sensor into the desired
position.
• Move out of the detection area and wait 2 minutes.
• Now enter the detection area. As soon as the
movement sensor register your movement, a red
LED is illuminated behind the diffusion lens on the
movement sensor and thus confirms correct
function.
