Procedure voor het slijpen:
► Remove the grass catcher, tilt the machine on to the right side and prop it up using suitable supports. It is
recommended to invite another person to help with tilting the machine in order to prevent damaging a part of the
machine or an injury.
► Unscrew both blades and clean them.
► First sharpen with a grinder and then with a file.

► On the 110 cm three-blade mowing deck each pair of blades is fastened using 3 bolts (blades are not equipped with
break pins). We recommend that you mark the blades before removing them to avoid problems when putting them
back.

► After sharpening the blades, do not install them yet, but check their balance, see procedure below.
► Prior to reinstalling the blades, check the condition of the break pins which serve as protection of the mowing deck. If
the break pins are damaged, replace them immediately. Spare pins are supplied with the machine.
► After checking the balance and the brake pins, screw the blades back in position. During installation, ensure that the bend of the
blades points upwards into the mowing deck body. Do not interchange the left and right blades. The right blade has a bolt with
a left thread.
► Carefully tighten the fastening bolts using a torque wrench using the prescribed tightening torque of
achieved the moment when the tangential (convex) spring under the fastening bolt is fully compressed and from this point on the
bolt is not tightened.
► DE MESSEN UITBALANCEREN
Besteedt extra aandacht aan het rechtzetten en uitlijnen van de mensen. De trillingen van messen die niet zijn rechtgezet en
uitgebalanceerd, kunnen de motor of het maaimechanisme beschadigen.
Steek, wanneer u gaat uitbalanceren, een schroevendraaier in de centrale opening
en plaats het mes in een horizontale stand. Als het mes in deze positie blijft, is het
uitgebalanceerd. Als één van de uiteinden van het mes zwaarder is, slijp deze kant dan tot
het mes uitgebalanceerd is. Wanneer u het mes uitbalanceert door middel van slijpen, mag
u het niet korter maken! Meer statische onbalans dan 2g is niet toegestaan.
Als u twijfelt over deze procedure, neem dan contact op met een geautoriseerde onderhoudsdienst, die u graag zal adviseren.
► MESSEN VERVANGEN
Als door frequent gebruik de messen zijn beschadigd, kunnen zij niet goed worden uitgebalanceerd of geslepen en moeten zij
worden vervangen. Ga als volgt te werk:

► Screw out both blades.
► Prior to installing new blades, check the condition of the brake pins which serve as protection of the mowing deck. If the break
pins are damaged, replace them immediately.
► Check that the blades are balanced, see above.
► Screw on the new blades. During installation, ensure that the bend of the blades points upwards into the mowing deck body. Do
not interchange the left and right blades. The right blade has a bolt with a left thread.
► Carefully tighten the fastening bolts using a torque wrench using the prescribed tightening torque of
achieved the moment when the tangential (convex) spring under the fastening bolt is fully compressed and from this point on the
bolt is not tightened.
Wanneer de messen op een vast obstakel stuiten, stop de motor dan onmiddellijk en controleer de messen! De splitpennen
kunnen beschadigd of gebroken zijn.
Draag altijd zware werkhandschoenen wanneer u met de maaimessen werkt.
Gebruik altijd alleen mensen die worden aanbevolen door de fabrikant of de leverancier van de tractor-maaier. Het gebruik
van messen en/of bevestigingsmaterialen die niet worden aanbevolen, kan leiden tot slechte maairesultaten, beschadiging
van de machine en in het geval dat zij tijdens gebruik losraken, tot letsel van personen.
6.3.7 MAAIMECHANISME - INSPECTIE EN BALANCEREN
U bereikt de beste maairesultaten wanneer het maaimechanisme is ingesteld op de juiste maaihoogte en de beide zijden van het
mechanisme waterpas zijn.
Voor u de aanpassing uitvoert:
► Place the machine on an optimaal gelijk oppervlak, vul alle banden met de voorgeschreven druk (80 -140 Kpa, ± 10 Kpa
difference between the individual tyres) and zet de hele machine vast zodat deze niet kan bewegen (e.g. using a suitable
wedge, etc.).
► Move the mowing deck elevation adjustment lever to position 1.
