This user’s manual includes instructions about the safe assembly, operation and maintenance of your machine. Study this user‘s manual carefully.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION 1.1 USE The machine model AC92-18(20) or AC92-23 4x4 under the brand name CROSSJET is a dual-axle terrain riding mower designed for mowing maintained and unmaintained grass-covered level and sloped areas up to an incline of 18°(32%), that are free of foreign objects (stones, fallen branches, bones, hard items, etc.).

    2. WORK SAFETY AND HEALTH Riding mowers models Ac 92-18, AC 92-20 and AC 92-23 4x4 under the brand name CROSSJET are manufactured according to valid European safety norms. The machine’s manufacturer confirms this fact in the Statement of compliance, which is included at the end of this user’s manual ( 10).

    ! Remove all defects before further use. Before starting work thoroughly check that the belts are tensioned, the blades are sharp and that the area inside the mowing deck is clear. 2.1.3 WHILE OPERATING THE MACHINE ! As this machine is intended for mowing grass on unmaintained areas where the operator may not always have full visibility and knowledge of the condition of the area being mowed (trenches or holes), the machine is equipped with a folding frame.

    2.1.4 AFTER FINISHING WORK WITH THE MACHINE ! Always maintain the machine and its accessories clean and in good technical condition. ! The rotating blades are sharp and may cause injuries. Whenever handing the blades always use protective gloves or wrap the blades. ! Regularly check the nuts and bolts securing the blades so that they are tightened with the appropriate amount of torque ( 6.3.6).

    2.4. FIRE SAFETY When reversing the riding mower it is necessary to adhere to fundamentals and regulations for work safety and fire protection relating to work with this type of machine. ! Regularly remove flammable substances (dry grass, leaves, etc.) from the area around the exhaust, engine, battery and anywhere, where they could come into contact with petrol or oil and subsequently catch on fire and so result in a fire on the machine.

    3. PREPARING FOR THE MACHINE FOR OPERATION 3.1 UNPACKING AND INSPECTING THE CONTENTS The riding mower is supplied wrapped and in crate packaging. For transportation reasons some machine assemblies are disassembled in the production plant and it is necessary to install them before putting the machine into operation.

    Under no circumstances should you sit on the seat before installing the seat springs into a working state! A collision with the hood could occur and damage it. b) Install the steering wheel:  Using a hammer and a suitable rod, knock out the pin (2), which is inserted in the shaft hole (1).
  • Page 20 3.4.3 FILLING THE FUEL TANK WITH FUEL For safety reasons the riding mower is transported without fuel and before the first start up it is necessary to fill it up. The fuel tank is located at the rear of the machine and has a capacity of 12 l of fuel.

    (3) PARKING BRAKE LEVER The parking brake has two positions. In position (1) the brake is not active, after shifting to position (2) while stepping down on brake pedal the parking brake is activated (will brake). Stepping on the brake pedal will deactivate the parking brake and the lever will automatically be released and shift to position (1).
  • Page 24 (7) CRUISE CONTROL DISENGAGE LEVER This lever disengages the mechanical cruise control function and so it is possible to travel with the machine very accurately at a slow speed.   • Page 25 (10) MOWING DECK ELEVATION ADJUSTMENT LEVER The lever serves to set the elevation height of the mowing deck from the ground. The lever has 4 work positions (50 - 60 - 75 – 100 mm), where the corresponding mowing height is 5 to 10 cm. The higher the number of the lever position, the higher vegetation height remains after mowing.

    (12) MOTOR HOURS COUNTER The motor hours counter implicitly displays the total number of motor hours. By pressing the Mode button you gradually switch between the following maintenance functions: TMR 1 - individual trip counter. The value is reset by holding down the Mode button for 6 seconds.

    Never stop the engine by merely getting off the seat, while leaving the key in the ignition in the position “ON” as this may result in an electrical defect. Always turn the key to the “OFF” position and remove it from the ignition. This will prevent an undesirable start up of the machine by an unauthorised person or children.
  • Page 29  When travelling over obstacles higher than 8 cm (kerbs, etc.) it is necessary to use ramps to avoid damaging the mowing deck and the gear box.  Avoid hard impacts of the front wheels against rigid obstacles, this may result in damage to the front axle, particularly when the machine is travelling at a high speed.
  • Page 30 5.5.4 TRAVELLING ON A SLOPE Riding mowers models AC 92-18 and AC 92-20 can work on Right slopes with an incline of up to 18° (32%). With the AC 92-23 4x4 machine it is possible in the longitudinal direction of the machine, i.e. in the direction up and down, however not along the contour, to travel over local uneven terrain up to a maximum incline of 20°.

    6. MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT Properly performed regular maintenance and inspection of the riding mower helps to increase its problem-free operating lifetime. Worn or damaged parts must be replaced in time. When replacing parts use only original spare parts, using non-original parts may damage the machine, endanger the health of the driver or other persons and during the warranty period it voids the warranty.

    6.2.1 BEFORE STARTING WORK  CHECK TYRE PRESSURE Maintain the prescribed tyre pressure and check it regularly. Maintaining the prescribed tyre pressure is important for even mowing. Different pressure values may cause difficulty in driving, or even loss of control over the machine.      WASHING THE MACHINE We do not recommend cleaning the machine using pressurised water! If despite this you do clean in this way, ensure that water does not enter the carburettor, air filter, ignition, exhaust, battery and other electrical components. Never direct the water current at the ball bearings (bearings in the blade holder, wheels) or on to parts in which there is oil (oil filter, filler neck, etc.) Before washing, park the machine on a suitable even surface.

    Further details about replacing oil as well as its type and amount are included in a separate user‘s manual supplied by the engine‘s manufacturer. If you come into contact with used oil, we recommend that you thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water.

    6.3.4 REPLACING A FUSE If a fuse is damaged the engine will immediately shut off, the mowing deck will stop and all indicator lights on the dash board will turn off. In this case it is necessary to find the faulty fuse and replace it with a new one.

The repairs described below may be performed by the user of the machine. Other repairs performed by the user that are not specified here will void the warranty. POST-SEASONAL MAINTENANCE, PUTTING MACHINE OUT OF OPERATION After the end of the season or if you will not be using your riding mower for more than 30 days, make sure to prepare your machine for storage as soon as possible. If fuel remains in the petrol tank without movement for more than 30 days, a sticky deposit may form, which can have a negative effect on the carburettor and cause poor engine operation.

Der Hersteller der Maschine bestätigt diese Tatsache in der Compliance-Erklärung am Ende dieser Bedienungsanleitung ( 10).

    3. VORBEREITUNG DER MASCHINE FÜR DEN BETRIEB 3.1 AUSPACKEN UND KONTROLLE DES INHALTS Der Aufsitzmäher wird eingewickelt und in einer Kiste verpackt geliefert. Aus Transportgründen werden einige Bauteile der Maschine im Fertigungswerk demontiert und es ist notwendig, diese vor Inbetriebnahme der Maschine zu montieren. Das Auspacken und die Vorbereitung für den Betrieb wird vom Verkäufer im Rahmen des Kundendienstes durchgeführt.

    a) Installation der Sitzfedern:  Kippen Sie die Sitzfläche heraus.   L ösen Sie die Schrauben, die die Sitzfeder unter der Halterung sichern. Installieren Sie dann die Federn, so dass sie sich oberhalb der Halterung befinden. 3.3a  Stellen Sie den geeigneten Abstand des Sitzes zum Lenkrad ein, indem Sie den Hebel für die Sitzposition drücken, der ein Teil des Sitzes ist.

  • Page 63 (3) FESTSTELLBREMSHEBEL Die Feststellbremse hat zwei Stellungen. In Stellung (1) ist die Bremse nicht aktiv. Nach Verschieben in Stellung (2) und Treten des Bremspedals wird die Feststellbremse aktiviert (sie bremst). Das Treten des Bremspedals deaktiviert die Feststellbremse und der Hebel wird automatisch freigegeben und begibt sich in Stellung (1).
  • Page 64 (7) HEBEL ZUM ABSCHALTEN DES TEMPOREGLERS Dieser Hebel deaktiviert den mechanischen Temporegler und ermöglicht so, die Maschine sehr genau mit einer niedrigen Geschwindigkeit zu fahren. Deaktivieren Sie den Temporegler nicht bei hoher Geschwindigkeit! Die Mulchfunktion kann durch Verwendung eines speziellen Zubehörs, einen so genannten „Mulchsatz“, verbessert werden, der separat als Sonderzubehör zum Mähen gepflegter Rasenflächen geliefert wird. (11) LEERLAUFHEBEL - FREIE BEWEGUNG DER HINTERRÄDER Der Leerlaufhebel dient dazu, die Übertragung für den Heckantrieb zu deaktivieren, und wird dazu verwendet, die Maschine ohne Motoreinsatz zu schieben oder zu ziehen.
  • Page 66 (13) FALTRAHMEN Der Faltrahmen soll verhindern, dass die Maschine um 180° umkippt, wenn sie aus irgendeinem Grund die Stabilität verliert und zur Seite kippt. Der Schutzrahmen darf auf keinen Fall als Sicherheits- / Schutzfunktion für den Bediener dienen! Der Faltrahmen hat 3 Stellungen: 1.

BETRIEB UND HANDHABUNG DER MASCHINE Informationen, die man kennen sollte, bevor der Aufsitzmäher zum ersten Mal eingeschaltet wird:  Der Aufsitzmäher ist mit Sicherheitskontakten ausgestattet, die durch einen Schalter unter dem Sitz verbunden sind.  Der Motor schaltet automatisch ab, wenn der Fahrer den Sitz verlässt und die Maschine nicht mit der Feststellbremse gesichert ist.

    Wenn der Motor überhitzt ist, lassen Sie ihn eine Weile mit minimaler Drehzahl laufen. Niemals den Motor abstellen, indem Sie sich einfach vom Sitz erheben, während der Schlüssel im Zündschloss in Stellung „ON“ ist, da dies zu einem elektrischen Defekt führen kann. Immer den Zündschlüssel in „OFF“-Stellung bringen und aus dem Zündschloss ziehen.

     WASCHEN DER MASCHINE Die Reinigung der Maschine mit Hochdruckreinigern wird nicht empfohlen! Wenn Sie die Maschine trotzdem auf diese Art reinigen wollen, sorgen Sie dafür, dass kein Wasser in Vergaser, Luftfilter, Zündung, Auspuff, Batterie und andere elektrische Komponenten gelangt. Richten Sie den Wasserstrahl nie auf die Kugellager (Lager in den Messerhaltern, Rädern) oder auf Teile, in denen Öl vorhanden ist (Ölfilter, Einfüllstutzen, usw.)     6.3.6 MÄHWERK - ÜBERPRÜFUNG UND WARTUNG DER MÄHMESSER Vor jedem Gebrauch des Aufsitzmähers den Zustand der Messer prüfen (auf Beschädigung, Verschleiß, Zustand der Schneide). Wenn die Messer stumpf, verbogen oder gebrochen sind, wirkt sich das negativ auf die Qualität beim Mähen aus. Beschädigte Messer sind sehr gefährlich. Ein Teil des Materials könnte sich lösen und vom Arbeitsbereich der Maschine weggeschleudert werden.

Wenn ohne Bewegung von mehr als 30 Tagen Kraftstoff im Tank bleibt, kann sich eine klebrige Ablagerung bilden, die sich negativ auf die Leistung von Vergaser und Motor auswirken kann.

    3. PREPARAZIONE DELLA MACCHINA FUNZIONAMENTO 3.1 DISIMBALLAGGIO E ISPEZIONE DEL CONTENUTO Il trattorino tosaerba è fornito in un imballo di trasporto con cassa. Alcune parti della macchina sono state smontate per il trasporto presso la fabbrica e devono essere installate prima del funzionamento. La macchina viene tolta dall’imballo e predisposta per il funzionamento dal rivenditore nell’ambito del servizio prevendita.

    Il livello dell’olio deve trovarsi tra i due segni presenti sull’astina. In caso contrario, aggiungere olio motore fino a raggiungere il segno”FULL” (PIENO).     (3) LEVA DEL FRENO DI STAZIONAMENTO La leva del freno di stazionamento presenta due posizioni. Nella posizione (1) il freno è inattivo. Quando viene spostato alla posizione (2) mentre il freno a pedale è premuto, si innesta il freno di stazionamento. La pressione del freno a pedale disinnesta il freno di stazionamento, rilasciando automaticamente la leva e spostandola nella posizione (1).

FUNZIONAMENTO MOVIMENTAZIONE DELLA MACCHINA Informazioni utili da sapere prima di avviare per la prima volta il trattorino tosaerba:  Il trattorino tosaerba è dotato di contatti di sicurezza, che vengono attivati con un interruttore posto sotto il sedile.  Il motore si arresta automaticamente se l’operatore lascia il sedile e la macchina non è saldamente arrestata con il freno di stazionamento.

VEILIGHEID EN GEZONDHEID TIJDENS HET WERK Tractormaaiers van de modellen Ac 92-18, AC 92-20 en AC 92-23 4x4 onder de merknaam CROSSJET worden geproduceerd in overeenstemming met de geldende Europese veiligheidsnormen. De fabrikant bevestigt dit in de Verklaring van overeenkomst die is bijgesloten aan het eind van deze gebruikershandleiding ( 10).

Leer, voordat u de machine in werking stelt, alles over de bedieningselementen en zorg ervoor dat u ze zo kunt bedienen dat u, zo nodig, de motor onmiddellijk kunt stilzetten of uitzetten. ! Pas niet de stand aan van de motorregelaar of van de snelheidsbeperking. ! Voordat u begint met werken met de machine moet u van het oppervlak van het terrein dat u gaat maaien, alle stenen, stukken hout, draad, botten, gevallen takken en andere items verwijderen, die tijdens het maaien zouden kunnen worden weggeslingerd.

De meest voorkomende oorzaken van het verlies van controle over de machine zijn bijvoorbeeld:  Verlies van wieltractie.  Veel te hoge snelheid, het niet aanpassen van de snelheid aan de actuele omstandigheden en kenmerken van het terrein.

    3. DE MACHINE KLAAR MAKEN VOOR GEBRUIK 3.1 UITPAKKEN EN INSPECTEREN De tractormaaier wordt geleverd verpakt in een krat. Sommige van de machines worden ten behoeve van het transport in de productiefaciliteit gedemonteerd en daarom kunt u deze machines pas in gebruik nemen wanneer u bepaalde onderdelen hebt geïnstalleerd.

    a) Installeren van de veren van de stoel:  Kantel de stoel.  Schroef de bouten los die de veer van de zitting onder de beugel vasthouden. Installeer vervolgens de veren zo dat zij boven de beugel zitten. 3.3a  Stel de afstand in van de stoel tot het stuurwiel door de hendel in te drukken die de stoel op zijn plaats houdt en die onderdeel uitmaakt van de stoel.

    U moet steeds voordat u gras gaat maaien het oliepeil controleren. 3.4.2 DE ACCU CONTROLEREN Controleer het laadniveau van de accu volgens de instructies in de gebruikershandleiding van de accu. 3.4.3 DE BRANDSTOFTANK VULLEN MET BRANDSTOF Om veiligheidsredenen wordt de tractormaaiervervoerd zonder brandstof en daarom moet voorafgaand aan het eerste opstarten brandstof in de tank worden gedaan.

Maak ook regelmatig de gehele tank schoon, omdat vuil in de olie de levensduur van het oliefilter bekort en een defect tot gevolg kan hebben. In positie (1) is de rem niet ingeschakeld, wanneer u de hendel in positie (2) hebt gezet en het rempedaal indrukt, wordt de parkeerrem ingeschakeld (remt). Wanneer u op het rempedaal drukt, wordt de parkeerrem uitgeschakeld en wordt de hendel automatisch vrijgegeven en in positie (1) gezet.
  • Page 269 (7) UITSCHAKELING CRUISE CONTROL Deze hendel schakelt de mechanische cruise-controlfunctie uit zodat het heel nauwkeurig rijden met de machine bij een lage snelheid mogelijk wordt. Schakel de cruise-control niet uit wanneer u op hoge snelheid rijdt. BEDIENEN VAN EN WERKEN MET DE MACHINE Wat u moet weten voordat u de tractormaaier de eerste keer aanzet:  De tractormaaier is voorzien van veiligheidscontacten, die zijn aangesloten door middel van een schakelaar onder de stoel.  De motor stopt automatisch als de gebruiker opstaat van de stoel verlaat en de machine niet is vastgezet met de parkeerrem.

    5.3 DE MOTOR UITSCHAKELEN a) Zet de gashendel in de stand „MIN“. b) Schakel het maaimechanisme, als dat is ingeschakeld, uit door de schakelaar omlaag te drukken. c) Zet de motor uit door de sleutel in de stand „STOP“ te draaien en neem de sleutel uit het contact. Laat de motor, als deze zeer heet is, enige tijd op het minimum toerental draaien.
  • Page 274 5.5 DE MACHINE BERIJDEN Algemene waarschuwingen voordat u gaat rijden:  Controleer dat de parkeerrem is uitgeschakeld. De parkeerrem mag niet in stand „2“ blijven staan 4.2.1 (3)). Wanneer u op de parkeerrem trapt, wordt de parkeerrem automatisch uitgeschakeld.  De by-passhendel moet in stand „1“ staan, d.w.z. de by-pass van de aandrijving moet ingeschakeld zijn.

    5.5.4 RIJDEN OP EEN HELLING Tractormaaiers van het model AC 92-18 en AC 92-20 kunnen Goed werken op hellingen van maximaal 18° (32%). Met de machine van het model AC 92-23 4x4 kunt u omhoog en omlaag rijden maar niet dwars op de helling, over lokaal ongelijk terrein met een helling van maximaal 20°.
  • Page 276 6. ONDERHOUD EN AFSTELLING Op juiste wijze regelmatig uitgevoerde onderhoudswerkzaamheden en inspecties dragen ertoe bij de probleemloze levensduur van de tractormaaier te verlengen. Versleten of beschadigde onderdelen moeten op tijd worden vervangen. Wanneer u onderdelen vervangt, gebruik dan alleen originele reserveonderdelen.

  • Page 278 6.2 DAGELIJKSE INSPECTIES EN ONDERHOUDSWERKZAAMHEDEN Zorg er, voordat u begint met onderhouds- of reparatiewerkzaamheden, voor dat volledig bekend bent met alle instructies, beperkingen en aanbevelingen in deze gebruikershandleiding. Haal altijd de sleutel uit het contact en neem de bougiekabels los, voordat u schoonmaak-, onderhouds- en reparatiewerkzaamheden uitvoert.

     DE MACHINE SCHOONMAKEN  Verwijder alle vuil en grasresten van het oppervlak van de tractor.  Verwijder ook gras, stof en andere brandbare materialen van de rand van de uitlaat.  HET MAAIMECHANISME SCHOONMAKEN Het maaimechanisme moet na ieder gebruik zorgvuldig worden schoongemaakt, vooral de binnenzijde van het mechanisme.

    6.3.2 MOTOR  OLIE VERVERSEN Neem een lege container van tenminste 2 liter wanneer u olie gaat verversen. Om ervoor te zorgen dat alle olie uit de motor loopt, kunt u het beste de machine laten overhellen naar de zijde van de aftrapschroef door er aan de zijde er tegenover bijv.

     VERVANGING VAN HET BRANDSTOFFILTER Laat de motor nooit draaien zonder een brandstoffilter. De motor zal dan snel slijten. Vervang het brandstoffilter volgens de instructies in de gebruikershandleiding voor de motor die door de fabrikant is geleverd.  ONDERHOUD VAN HET KOELSYSTEEM VAN DE MOTOR Controleer, iedere keer voordat u aan het werk gaat en steeds tijdens de werkzaamheden dat het rooster op de motor niet verstopt raakt met grasresten of andere voorwerpen.

    6.3.6 MAAIMECHANISME – CONTROLE EN ONDERHOUD VAN DE MAAIMESSEN Controleer, voordat u met de tractormaaier aan de slag gaat, de conditie van de messen (beschadiging, conditie van de snijrand). Als de messen bot, verbogen of afgebroken zijn, heeft dat een negatieve uitwerking op het maairesultaat.

  • Page 284 Controleer regelmatig de slijtage en de spanning van de V-snaren en het spanmechanisme. De V-snaren van de aandrijving (rijden en maaien) worden automatisch op spanning gehouden door een veer en een poelie. Controleer, voordat u aan het werk gaat of ten minste steeds na 50 bedrijfsuren de slijtage van de V-snaren en de werking van het spanmechanisme.

Laat een lekke band repareren door een gespecialiseerd bandencentrum of bij een geautoriseerde servicewerkplaats voor Seco-machines. 6.3.13 ONDERHOUD VAN DE HYDROSTATISCHE TRANSMISSIE De transmissie kan alleen betrouwbaar zijn werk doen als het juiste oliepeil gehandhaafd blijft.

ONDERHOUD NA AFLOOP VAN HET SEIZOEN, DE MACHINE BUITEN BEDRIJF STELLEN Aan het eind van het seizoen of als u uw tractormaaier langer dan 30 dagen niet gaat gebruiken, is het belangrijk dat u de machine zo spoedig mogelijk gereedgemaakt voor de stalling. Als brandstof langer dan 30 dagen achterblijft in de tank, kan zich een kleverige neerslag vormen, die een negatieve invloed op de carburateur en maakt dat de motor slecht loopt.
