118. Attach the wheel pants to the landing gear using two M3
x 10 button head screws and two M3 washers. Apply
threadlock on the screws, then tighten using a 2mm hex
wrench.
 GAS ENGINE INSTALLATION
119. Place the mounting template on the fuselage. Use a
5/32-inch (2mm) drill bit to drill the holes necessary to
mount your particular motor choice.
120. Use a drill and 3/16-inch (5mm) drill bit to enlarge the
holes to mount the engine. Enlarge the hole for the
throttle pushrod using a drill and 7/32-inch (5.5mm) drill
bit.
121. Remove the hatch from the fuselage by lifting it at the
rear, then sliding it out of the fuselage.
122. Drill the hole for the throttle pushrod using a drill and
9/64-inch (3.5mm) drill bit. Drill the hole up 1
(32mm) from the bottom of the fuselage, and close to the
side of the fuselage so it will enter into the fuselage.

123. Use medium grit sandpaper to lightly sand the outside of
the pushrod tube so the CA will adhere to it.
124. Insert the pushrod into the hole. Leave 1/4-inch (4mm)
extending forward of the fi rewall. Use medium CA to glue
the pushrod to the fi rewall.
125. Attach the motor mount to the fi rewall using four M4 x
20 socket head cap screws, four M4 lock nuts and eight
M4 washers.
126. Fit the engine in the mounts and use a clamp to hold it
in position. Adjust the engine so the drive washer is 4
inches (122mm) forward of the fi rewall.
127. Use an 11/64-inch (4.5mm) drill bit to make indentations
on the mount where the holes for the mounting screws
will be drilled.
 Cover the carburetor and exhaust of your engine to
prevent debris from entering the engine while drilling.
