• To measure a distance (single measurement), point the laser at the desired
point on a level, non-reflective surface. The device will measure the direct or
shortest distance between this surface and the device.
• Hold the device still and press the ON / DIST / OK button (6) to take a
measurement.
• The device will beep to confirm that a measurement has been taken. The
measurement is now complete. The result will appear on the LCD display (10),
and if voice prompts are enabled, the result will be stated in a voice prompt.
• After each further measurement, the last two measured values will be shown
in the rows above. Measurements are stored in the memory. If you have taken
several measurements, the most recent measurement will always be shown in
the bottom row (main display area).

Press and hold the ON / DIST / OK button (6) to switch to continuous

measurement mode. If voice prompts are enabled, the measurement mode will
be stated in a voice prompt. The target laser will be activated. The maximum
and minimum measurements will be displayed in the rows for the auxiliary
values (D). The distance will now be measured continuously.
To end the continuous measurement, press the ON / DIST / OK (6) or C/OFF

button (7). This function will be terminated automatically after 3 minutes of
inactivity.
