e) Using the device as a laser distance meter
Hold the detector in your hand so that the words "Laser Distance Meter" appear in
the correct orientation. Operate the device using the buttons on the side facing you.

Switch on/off in distance measuring mode

Before switching on the laser measurement and detection device, make
sure that the sensor area on the bottom of the product is not damp. If
necessary, wipe the sensor area dry using a suitable lint-free cloth.
If the device has been subjected to a change in temperature, wait until the
device has adjusted to the ambient temperature before switching it on.
