• Caution: Using equipment or procedures other than those described
in these instructions could lead to exposure to dangerous radiation.
• Never leave the laser unattended during use. If possible, use barriers
and partitions to block access to public areas where you will use the
laser, and mark the area with warning signs.
• Do not use the laser at eye level (1.40 to 1.90 m).
• Never look directly into the laser beam when the device is in use. The
bright flashes of light may temporarily impair your vision. In addition,
epileptic fits may be triggered in people who are sensitive to bright
lights. This particularly applies to epileptics.
• Do not use optical instruments (magnifying glass, microscope or
binoculars) to view the laser beam or its reflections.
c) Electrical safety
• Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or put objects filled
with liquid next to the device. If liquid or an object does get inside the
appliance, power down the respective socket (e.g. switch off the circuit
breaker), and then remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Discontinue use and take the product to a specialist repair centre.
d) Persons and product
• The electromagnetic radiation emitted by this measuring device may
affect the functioning of medical devices such as pacemakers or
hearing aids.
• Do not use the measuring device in the vicinity of medical devices.
• Do not use the measuring device in airplanes.
• Prevent water from getting inside the device and avoid direct exposure
to sunlight.
