Assicurarsi che la base del sopporto sia
correttamente allineata. I segni verticali
sulla mezzeria delle varie facciate e alle
estremità della base del sopporto facili-
tano il lavoro. Serrare leggermente i bul-
loni di fissaggio.

Mettere le altre metà delle guarnizioni
nel cappello e riempire di grasso lo spa-
zio tra i labbri.

Mettere il cappello sulla base e serrare
le viti (per unire il cappello alla base),
vedere tabella. Cappello e base di un
sopporto non sono intercambiabili con
quelli di un altro. Occorre controllare che
cappello e base rechino la stessa identi-
ficazione.

Serrare completamente i bulloni di fis-
saggio al basamento (vedere tabella).

Carefully align the housing base. Vertical
markings at the middle of the side faces
and ends of the housing base can facili-
tate this. Then lightly tighten the attach-
ment bolts.

The remaining seal halves should be in-
serted in the seal grooves in the housing
cap and the space between the sealing
lips filled with grease.

The housing cap should be placed over
the base and the cap bolts (to join cap
and base) tightened to the torque accord-
ing to the table. The cap and base of one
housing are not interchangeable with
those of other housings. The cap and
base should be checked to see that they
bear the same identification.

Check the alignment, to minimise mis-
alignment and fully tighten the attachment
bolts in the housing base with help of a
torque wrench. Recommended tightening
torques are given in the table.
