Per i supporti SKF tipo Y, non viene indicata
una quantità di grasso, ma una modalità di
riempimento, secondo la quale il grasso
dovrebbe essere introdotto lentamente, men-
tre il cuscinetto ruota, fino a quando non fuo-
riesce lubrificante fresco dalle tenute. Si con-
siglia di non utilizzare pressioni eccessive,
per non danneggiare le tenute.
Per la rilubrificazione è necessario utilizzare
lo stesso tipo di grasso utilizzato per il primo
riempimento del cuscinetto. Per la selezione
del tipo di grasso da utilizzare per i supporti Y,
si faccia riferimento alla tabella seguente:

About Y bearing units, SKF doesn't suggest a
quantity of grease to use but the way to carry
out the regreasing operation. When relubricat-
ing, grease should be pumped slowly into the
running bearing untill fresh grease starts to
escape from the seal. Excessive pressure
from pumping too quickly may damage the
seals.
To re-lubricate it is necessary to use the
same grease as that employed at the initial
lubrication. To select the grease to use with Y
beraring units, pelase refer to the table below:
Y-bearings YAR 2-2RF/HV and YAR 2-2RF/VE95,
Y-bearing units SYKC, FYKC and FYTBKC
