Disporre la base del corpo sulla su-
perficie di appoggio.

Inserire i bulloni di fissaggio, senza ser-
rarli.

Inserire le metà inferiori delle guarnizioni
nelle rispettive scanalature del sopporto
e riempire di grasso lo spazio tra i labbri.

Rimuovere il protettivo dalla superficie
del foro, dalla superficie del diametro
esterno del cuscinetto e dalle superfici
della bussola.

Inserire la bussola sull'albero.

Posizionare il cuscinetto sulla bussola.

Avvitare la ghiera orientandola con smus-
so frontale al cuscinetto ma non montare
la rosetta.

Serrare manualmente la ghiera quel
tanto che basta per far sì che cuscinetto,
bussola e albero siano in contatto.

Serrare la ghiera di un angolo 75° me-
diante chiave a settore.

Position the housing on the support sur-
face.

Fit the attachment bolts but do not tigh-
ten them.

Insert one seal half in each of the grooves
in the housing base and fill with grease
the space between the two lips.

Wipe the preservative from the bore,
outside diameter of the bearing and sur-
faces of the sleeve.

Lightly oil the bore of the bearing with a
thin mineral oil. Open the adapter sleeve
by inserting a screwdriver or other suit-
able tool in the slit and slide the sleeve
along the shaft to the correct position.

Place the bearing on the sleeve.sleeve
along the shaft to the correct position.

Screw on the nut with its chamfer facing
the bearing but do not mount the locking
washer.

Tighten the nut by hand just enough to
achieve proper contact between bear-
ing, sleeve and shaft.
9
If a sleeve with metric thread is used,
tighten the nut through the angle 75°
using a hook spanner.
