Riposizionare la chiave a 180° rispetto
alla posizione iniziale e serrarla ancora
di qualche grado assestando un leggero
colpo di martello sull'asta della chiave.
Ciò permette di raddrizzare il cuscinetto
in caso si fosse disposto in modo obliquo.

Svitare la ghiera. Il cuscinetto non si
allenterà. Posizionare la rosetta.

Serrare fermamente la ghiera di arresto
accertandosi di non fare ulteriormente
avanzare il cuscinetto sull'albero. Ser-
rare la ghiera ripiegando un'aletta della
rosetta su uno degli intagli della ghiera,
senza chiuderla completamente.

Controllare che l'albero o l'anello ester-
no possano essere ruotati senza diffi-
coltà.

I ntrodurre il grasso nel cuscinetto.

Lo spazio libero nel sopporto deve esse-
re solo parzialmente riempito (tra il 30 e
il 50 %). Per la quantità di grasso vedere
la tabella.

Inserire l'albero completo di cuscinetto
nella base del sopporto.

Posizionare l'anello di arresto a ciascun
lato di uno dei due cuscinetti, preferibil-
mente quello lato trasmissione.

Re-position the spanner at 180° to its
original position and tighten the spanner
a few degrees more by tapping the
spanner handle lightly with a hammer.
This will straighten up the bearing if it has
become skewed on the shaft.

Unscrew the nut. The bearing will not
come loose. Place the locking washer in
position.

Tighten the lock nut firmly but make sure
that the bearing is not driven any further
up the sleeve. Lock the nut by bending
one of the locking washer tabs down
into one of the slots in the nut. Do not
bend it to the bottom of the slot.

Check that the shaft or outer ring can be
rotated without any disturbances.

Completely fill the bearing with grease.

The remainder of the recommended
grease quantity should be put in the
housing base at the sides (see table).

Lay the shaft with bearing in the housing
base.

Put the locating ring(s) (when needed,
better transmission side) at each side of
the bearing.
