22. Cybersecurity information
This section provides essential information about the security features of the Magic InBra™
Rental breast pump.
Information
• The charging port on the breast pump is intended for charging purposes only.
• Do not connect the breast pump to any device other than the recommended power
adaptor (see Chapter 21 for technical specifications).
• Only use the supplied USB power cable to charge your breast pump.

Factory reset
You can perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the Power and Start/Pause buttons
for 10 seconds. The factory reset allows you to restore your Magic InBra™ Rental breast
pump to its original factory settings if the device is not functioning as expected and/or other
troubleshooting steps have failed.
Note: A factory reset will erase all breast pump memory. If the app is being used, all data
stored in the app will remain accessible. For further information on data stored in the app,
please refer to the Instructions for Use of the Medela Family Pump Control app.
Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
To ensure transparency and security, Medela provides upon request a SBOM detailing the
components used in the device. Please contact Medela Customer Service for assistance.
Secure firmware updates and patches
The breast pump supports secure firmware updates to address potential security
vulnerabilities. Firmware updates are provided through Medela Customer Service. To
maintain the device security, it is recommended to check for routine security updates and
