20. International regulations
20.1 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
The Magic InBra™ Rental breast pump complies with all requirements of the relevant
standards and regulations with regard to electromagnetic emission and immunity to
36
interference.
The essential performance functions include vacuum not exceeding 350 mmHg and
backflow protection to prevent milk leakage into the motor unit. The Magic InBra™ breast
pump was tested for immunity to electromagnetic disturbances and passed using the criteria
of maximum vacuum, backflow protection and operation of the breast pump.
• Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided
because it could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment
and the other equipment should be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
• Portable wireless communications equipment such as wireless home network devices,
mobile phones, cordless telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies, RFID,
other electrical equipment and also including peripherals such as antenna cables and
external antennas can affect the electric breast pump and should be kept at a distance
of at least 30 cm away from the breast pump including cables. Otherwise, degradation
of the performance of this equipment could result.
• Use of USB cables other than those provided by the manufacturer of this device could
result in increased electromagnetic emissions or decreased electromagnetic immunity
of this equipment and result in improper operation.
