Problem
L or R side selection
button not working
28
Pumping is painful
or uncomfortable
The breast
pump pauses
unexpectedly
Solution
• Switching the side is not possible once milk has been
expressed.
Refer to chapter 9.2.
• If you experience pain during pumping, break the seal
between the breast and the breast shield with your finger
and remove the breast pump from your breast.
• Ensure that your optimal breast shield size has been selected
for maximum efficiency and comfort [see chapter 15].
• Ensure you are using your maximum comfort vacuum while
pumping [see chapter 9].
• Ensure the nipple is centered in the breast shield tunnel.
• Ensure that the bra you are wearing supports the
breast pump securely in place while avoiding excessive
compression on your breast. Try loosening the bra strap or
switching to a more stretchy bra if you experience discomfort.
• Ensure that the breast pump is sufficiently charged (battery
status indicator green or yellow).
• Ensure that the breast shield is completely sealed against the
breast and that there is nothing in between the breast and
the shield (eg. clothes, bra etc.)
• Ensure to boil all parts except for the motor unit before first
use for proper sealing.
• If after 15 min of pumping no milk has been detected the
pump will pause automatically. Break the latch with your
fingers and remove the pump from
your breast.
• If the solutions above do not work, disassemble the breast
pump. Ensure all parts are clean, dry and not damaged.
Reassemble the breast pump correctly, following instructions
in chapter 8.
