Installing The Child Restraint In A Vehicle
REAR FACING INSTALLATION USING VEHICLE BELTS
When child's weight exceeds UAS weight limits (page 6), installation with vehicle belts is
required.
The seat belt must be locked for a safe install. Most lap/shoulder seat belts can be
locked by switching the seat belt into the locked (ALR) mode following the instructions
on page 39. Refer to page 41 for more information on locking other types of seat belts.
Unsnap the upholstery in the seating area (a) and expose the blue belt guides for rear
facing installation (b).
Make both shoulder and lap portion of the vehicle belt pass through the openings on the
seat sides (c). Thread the lap portion of the belt through both belt guides and buckle the
vehicle belt (d - click).
