UAS - What Is It And Where Is It In The Vehicle
Child Seat UAS hardware:
Lower Connectors: these are hooks on your
child's seat that will hook onto the lower
anchors in the vehicle's seat crease. Primo
Viaggio All In One is equipped with flexible
connectors. When not in use they are located
under the upholstery in the seating area.
Tether strap: the tether is a strap found on
every forward-facing child restraint. The
tether strap secures the top of the child
restraint to the vehicle's tether anchor. The
tether strap keeps the brain and spine safer
for a child riding in a forward-facing child
restraint.
IMPORTANT! WEIGHT LIMITS: UAS system
may be used for installation rear facing up
to a CHILD WEIGHT of 16 kg (35 lbs), and
for installation forward facing up to a CHILD
WEIGHT of 18 kg (40 lbs).
If your vehicle owner's manual specifies a
LATCH weight limit less than the those listed
above, defer to the lower LATCH weight limit.
If the child exceeds the vehicle or child
restraint maximum weight limits, install the
child restraint using a vehicle belt.
