Installing The Child Restraint In A Vehicle
REAR FACING MODE PREPARATION
Turn the seat in rear-facing mode following the
procedure at page 16.
Place Child Restraint rear-facing on the vehicle
seat.
Locate the level line on the base of the child
45°
restraint. Level the line to the ground, and if
necessary, place a rolled towel or a pool noodle
25°
on the vehicle seat to obtain the proper angle
parallel to the ground.
Once the line is properly leveled, the child restraint
can be adjusted in any of the six positions. The
resulting backrest angle will be between 45° and
25° as indicated in the illustration.
IMPORTANT:
Please follow the suggested BEST COMFORT
POSITIONS in relation to your baby's weight as
indicated on the chart on the side of the product.
Newborn infants should be properly reclined to
avoid breathing problems. In order to achieve the
LEVEL LINE
RECLINE INDICATOR
best comfort position for your newborn (5 to 11 lbs)
please use the suggested green flagged positions
(5 or 6) like indicated on the product itself.
