Additionally, the UAS system can be used in
booster mode to secure the seat to the vehicle
to reduce the risk of an unoccupied seat
becoming a projectile in a crash.
• All fabric covers and pads that come with this
child restraint are part of the product and the
certification program. The use of non approved
covers or other accessories are not recommended
and can put your child at risk in a crash.
• The energy absorbing white foam (EPP
and EPS) located under the fabric covers
is a safety feature of this child restraint and
should never be removed or damaged.
• When used in booster mode, this child
restraint is not certified for aircraft use because
aircraft seats DO NOT have shoulder belts.
• Bulky jackets should be removed and placed on
backwards over the child after the harness is fitted.
• Keep fingers away from moving parts.
• Do not lift this child restraint by the harness
or tether to avoid unnecessary wear or stress
on the webbing. Lift it by the hard structure.
• Do not place this child restraint on countertops,
tables or soft surfaces, elevated surfaces.
• When not in use, store the product, away
from light, moisture, excessive heat or cold.
• Expiration: Do not use this unit after twelve
(12) years from the date of purchase. If a
purchase proof is not available, refer to the
production date labeled on the seat.
Model number, model name, date of
manufacturing, etc. are indelibly printed on
a label located in the picture shown here.
Harness serial number is also indelibly
printed on the buckle and the webbing
and could provide useful information in
case of crash or defects.
Important! Second hand: Peg Perego does
not recommend purchasing used seats for
which there is no known history. Hidden parts
of the seat may be damaged or not working
properly, thus making the restraint dangerous
or inefficent in the event of a crash.
