2.2 Intended use
The sewage lifting units of the SANICUBIC 1 FRK model range are intended for collect-
ing and passing on domestic waste waterwhich cannot be disposed of via free gravita-
tional flow. The lifting units are designed for faeces-containing and faeces-free domestic
waste water. The lifting unit pumps the collected waste water above the flood level into
the sewage channel.
The lifting unit SANICUBIC 1 FRK is mainly designed for the use in detached houses. But
it can also be used in small commercial operations. The precondition is that other usable
sanitary facilities are available at the same time if the lifting unit has to be maintained or
breaks down due to a malfunction.
Other application possibilities are not permitted. In particular, drainage objects which lay
above the flood level must not be connected; this also includes discharge of rainwater.
Intended use also includes compliance with the instructions in this manual and product-
related documents
Any use beyond the intended one and/or any different use is considered misuse:
!
- Never operate the plant outside of the operating limits. The maximum possible feed
flow must always be smaller than the flow rate of the pump in operating condition.
Ä  Chapter 9 „Technical data"
- The sewage lifting unit must not be operated in continuous operation. The plant
is designed for intermittent periodic duty (25% ED - S3).
Ä  Chapter 9 „Technical data"
- Never operate the plant or centrifugal pump in dry-running.
- Never use worn components (neglected maintenance).
- Do not use the plant in explosion-endangered areas.
- Never inject harmful substances into the plant which can lead to damage of persons,
which contaminate waters as well as impair the functionality of the plant. These par-
ticularly include the following:
• Waste water containing oils and greases.
• Aggressive substances, e.g. acids (pipe cleaning agents with a pH-value below 4),
lyes, salts and condensates.
• Cleaning and disinfection agents, dishwashing and laundry detergents in over-
dosed quantities, e.g. such leading to disproportionately high formation of foam.
• Flammable and explosive substances, e.g. petrol, benzene, oil, phenols, solvent-
based lacquers, spirit.
• Solid substances, e.g. kitchen waste, toiletries, wipes, glass, sand, ash, fibres,
synthetic resins, tar, cardboard, textiles, greases (oils), paint residues, gypsum,
cement, lime.
• Waste water from manure pits and animal husbandry, e.g. slaughterhouse waste,
