materials are at least 50 cm away from the heater.
• Beware! Touching hot parts of the heater can cause
burns and blisters!
• The appliance must be installed by a qualified fitter
• DO NOT use a dust filter under or on top of the casing.
• DO NOT hang wet clothes or towels etc. on the heater
to dry!
• Always unplug the heater before starting any
maintenance work.
• Make sure that the cables are reconnected otherwise the
heater will not ignite.
• The fan should be connected to an earthed wall socket.

Positioning

• This appliance must be installed in accordance with the
current regulations and may only be used in a properly
ventilated room, to ensure that there is always sufficient
air supply.
• The appliance may only be installed against a wall made
of combustible material if the wall is protected with a
protective panel.
• Keep the connection between the pipe mouth and the
chimney duct as short and straight as possible. The gas
control block must be easily accessible.
• The minimum height of the chimney duct is 3 mtr.
• Ensure that at least 3 m. (vertical) outlet pipe, 100 mm
diameter, is connected to the appliance.
• It is not allowed to wrap a built in appliance in any kind of
isolation material.

Fitting the appliance

The design of the appliance is such that the casing can be
entirely built into a new fireplace (of incombustible and
heat-resistant material) or flush with the wall. The heater
is then slid into the casing. To build the casing into the
fireplace, a rectangular hole must be made that is:
Soprano: 820 mm high and 595 mm wide
Allegro: 680 mm high and 695 mm wide
Allow for the depth of the heater itself (400 mm). At the
front of the fire nothing should be higher than the base of
the casing, such as the fireplace base, as it will otherwise
be impossible to remove the burner for inspection or
maintenance. The fireplace must be built accurately, in view
of the narrow flange in the interior.
Allow at least 9 cm clearance above the front so that the
front can be fitted easily and the hot air released can
disperse freely. Please note that the two fire-protection
wires on the right-hand side must first be disconnected.
Lift the front out of the hinges. Open the glass window to
remove box of logs and the bag of accessories from the
combustion chamber. This can be done by unscrewing the
two socket-head screws on the right of the glass, using the
spanner provided. Lift the glass pane out of the hinges.
Always unplug the heater before starting any maintenance
work.
Pull the burner unit forwards to remove it from the
appliance. Please note that the two fire-protection wires
on the right-hand side must first be disconnected.
Check that the fireplace complies with the build-in
dimensions specified above.
