sure regulator.
2. Rotate in the clockwise direction. Observe the pres-
sure on the pressure gauge (Fig. 4, Pos. 5). Rotate
the air pressure regulator till the required pressure is
attained.
3. Press and lock the air pressure regulator.

Product description | EPS 625 | 49
The test oil supply unit consists of a test oil pump
(Fig. 12, Pos. 3) driven by an electric motor. This unit
supplies test oil to the fuel injection pump under test.
i
The test oil pump starts up automatically after start-
ing the EPS 945 software.
A flexible coupling connects the test oil pump and the
motor. The frame supports the test oil supply unit.
!
Ensure that the motor is powered on only in the
specified direction. The direction is indicated on the
motor.
3.5.10
Pressure control valve for high and
low pressure
The pressure control valve is used for controlling the
pressure of the test oil fed into the fuel injection pump
under test. When the hand knob (Fig. 12, Pos. 5) is
turned counterclockwise to the extreme position, the
high pressure test oil (upto 4 Mpa) can be tapped from
the pressure line connection. When the threaded spin-
dle is turned clockwise, the high pressure oil bleeds
off. Low pressure oil can be tapped at the pressure line
connection.
The pressure can be adjusted between 0 Mpa to
0.35 Mpa by appropriately rotating the spindle using
the hand knob.

Lubricating oil supply kit (special accessory)

The lubricating oil supply kit (order number
1 687 001 977) is used with fuel injection pumps which
do not have sump lubrication.
i
Contact your Bosch dealer to order the lubricating
oil supply kit.
The lubricating oil delivery pump is mounted on the
base of the EPS 625. The other parts of the lubricating
oil supply kit include an oil reservoir with an integrated
filter and lubricating oil supply. The lubricating oil pres-
sure is displayed on the pressure gauge (Fig. 4, Pos. 11)
located on the front panel.
!
Do not switch on the pump until the lubricating oil
tank of the lubricating oil kit has been filled.
i
The lubricating oil supply line is sealed with a plug.
Remove the plug before use.
i
Refer to the manual " Installation instructions: - Sup-
plementary equipment set - Oil-supply unit" (order
number 1 689 978 590) for more details on installing
the lubricating oil kit.
