Activation/deactivation of password protection

Note!
If the password protection is activated (C0094 = 1 ... 9999) only the user

menu can be freely accessed.
To get into the other menus you must enter the password first.
ƒ
Please observe that also the password−protected parameters will be
ƒ
overwritten when parameter sets are transferred to other controllers. The
password will be transferred, too.
Do not forget your password! If you cannot remember the password, it can
ƒ
only be reset via PC or a bus system.
Activation of password protection
Step
1.
Select the submenu 2.1 "ALL" in
the menu 2
2.
Change to the code level
3.
Select C0094
4.
Change to parameter level
5.
Set password
6.
Change to the code level
7.
Change to menu 1 "USER
menu"
The password protection is active now:
l
Every time you want to leave the user menu, "Enter password" is displayed.
l
If you enter the correct password and confirm it with
again.
