SAFETY INFORMATION
PROPER BIKE CONFIGURATION
4. Secure Power Cable: Ensure that the power cable is properly secured and clear of all moving parts of
the bike. Always unplug the bike immediately after use and before cleaning or performing maintenance.
Important Note: To reduce the risk of serious injury, it is crucial to read and understand all safety
information carefully before operating the Ascend S2 magnetic spinning bike. Owners should
take responsibility for ensuring that all users of the bike are aware of these instructions and safety
information provided.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
1. Regular Inspections: For safety and optimal performance, inspect the bike for wear and damage
before each ride. Regularly maintain and properly tighten all parts.
2. Authorized Service: If any parts are damaged or worn, do not use the bike until repairs are performed
using original manufacturer parts.
SAFE WORKOUT PRACTICES
1. Proper Form: Before attempting new movements on the bike, watch instructional training videos
carefully to ensure proper form and safety. Enlisting the help of a certified trainer is also recommended.
2. Maintain Resistance and Core Engagement: To prevent injury, always maintain some resistance on
the bike and engage your core. Do not stand up on the pedals or use hand weights without adequate
resistance.
3. Controlled Movements: Execute core movements, hand positions, and hand weight exercises at a slow
pace before attempting higher speeds. Do not ride in a standing position at a high RPM until you have
practiced at slower speeds.
4. Maintain Posture: Always keep your back straight while riding; avoid arching your back. Arching your
back can lead to serious injuries.
5. Gradual Stopping: The pedals will continue to turn until the weighted flywheel stops. To stop, gradually
slow your pedal strokes. For an urgent stop, use the emergency brake by pushing and holding down on
the resistance adjustment knob. Do not use the emergency break for anything other than emergencies.
Using it on a regular basis may wear down the emergency pad prematurely and incur repair costs.
6. Dismounting: Do not dismount the bike or remove your feet from the pedals until both the pedals
and the flywheel have come to a complete stop to prevent loss of control and potential injuries. If your
foot disengages from the pedal while riding, move your feet to the side and push and hold down on the
resistance knob to stop the flywheel.
Please adhere to these safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable workout experience with the
Ascend S2 magnetic spinning bike.
