BIKE SETUP FOR OPTIMAL
COMFORT AND SAFETY
SADDLE HEIGHT
• Start by positioning the saddle (as a rough guideline), approximately in line with the top tip of your hip
bone or at the same height as the top of your thigh when you lift your knee while standing next to the
bike.
• Ensure that, while sitting on the saddle, you can lightly touch the pedal with your heel when it's at the
lowest point of its rotation.
• When pedaling, you should be able to extend your leg fully without locking your knee. This means your
leg should be almost straight but not entirely, maintaining a slight bend at the knee.
SEAT POSITION
• Position yourself correctly on the seat, ensuring you are sitting on the wider portion of the saddle.
• Adjust the seat's horizontal position so that when you place both pedals at the same height level on
either side of the bike, your front knee is in alignment with the middle of your foot, slightly ahead of
your ankle. This alignment is crucial for an ergonomic and efficient riding posture.
