Faderstart über ein Mischpult
Der CD-400PRO lässt sich über ein Mischpult mit
A
Faderstart-Funktion fernbedienen. Den Typ des
CH
Mischpult-Faderstartschalters mit dem Schalter RE-
MOTE SELECT (42) einstellen:
Position LOCK SW für Ein- /Ausschalter
Für die meisten Mischpulte aus dem Sortiment von
„img Stage Line" muss diese Schalterposition
gewählt werden. Mit dem Aufziehen des zuge-
hörigen Mischpult-Faders wird ein Schalter im
Mischpult geschlossen, der den CD-Player startet.
Beim Zuziehen des Faders öffnet der Schalter und
schaltet dadurch den CD-Player auf Pause.

Position TACT SW für Taster
Wird der Taster das erste Mal durch das Aufziehen
des zugehörigen Faders am Mischpult betätigt, star-
tet der CD-Player. Wird der Taster zum zweiten Mal
durch das Zuziehen des Faders betätigt, schaltet
der CD-Player auf Pause.

Damit es nicht zu einer Fehlfunktion kommen kann,
zuerst den CD-Player und das Mischpult ausschal-
ten. Die entsprechende Faderstartbuchse am
Mischpult über ein Verbindungskabel (siehe Abb. 10
oder 11) an die Buchse START/PAUSE 1 (43) bzw.
START/ PAUSE 2 (37) anschließen.
Ist das Mischpult mit einer Vorhörfunktion (Moni-
torfunktion) ausgestattet, kann trotz zugezogenem
Fader für den CD-Player ein Titel angespielt und

Fader Start via a Mixer
The CD-400PRO can be remote-controlled via a
mixer with fader start function. Adjust the type of
fader start switch of the mixer with the switch
REMOTE SELECT (42):
Position LOCK SW for on/off switch
This switch position must be selected for most
mixers of the "img Stage Line" range. By advancing
the corresponding fader on the mixer, a switch start-
ing the CD player is closed in the mixer. When the
fader is closed, the switch opens and thus sets the
CD player to pause.

Position TACT SW for momentary pushbutton
switch
If the momentary pushbutton switch is pressed for
the first time when advancing the corresponding
fader on the mixer, the CD player is started. If the
momentary pushbutton switch is pressed for the
second time when closing the fader, the CD player is
set to pause.

To prevent malfunction, first switch off the CD player
and the mixer. Connect the corresponding fader start
jack on the mixer via a cable (see fig. 10 or 11) to the
jack START/PAUSE 1 (43) or START/PAUSE 2 (37).
If the mixer is equipped with a prefader listening
function (monitoring function), it is possible to play
the beginning of a title and to monitor it via head-
phones despite a closed fader for the CD player. For

Wiedergabe automatisch am Ende eines Titels bzw.
am Ende des letzten Titels stoppt und das andere
Laufwerk startet.

MP3-Dateien vom Computer auf eine

Ist Ihr Computer mit einem SD-Kartenleser ausgestat-

tet, lassen sich am einfachsten hierüber die Dateien
auf eine SD-Karte kopieren. Wenn nicht, kann der

CD-400PRO mit Ihrem Computer verbunden und

zum Kopieren genutzt werden. Dazu muss zuerst ein
USB-Treiber und das Kopierprogramm „DJ MP3" auf
Ihrem Computer installiert werden. Beide sind auf
der beiliegenden CD-ROM „DJMP3 USB DRIVER"
vorhanden. Außerdem befindet sich eine englische
Bedienungsanleitung im PDF-Format auf der CD.

8.1 USB-Treiber installieren
1) Die beiliegende CD „DJMP3 USB DRIVER" in
das CD-ROM-Laufwerk des Computers einlegen.
2) Im Verzeichnis „DRIVER" die Datei „SETUP.EXE"
starten und die Installation für den Treiber durch-
führen.
3) Am Ende der Installation bei dem Betriebssystem

durch Anwählen der Schaltfläche „Ja" neu star-
ten. Bei dem Betriebssystem Windows

Note: Control via mixer fader is pointless during
relay operation (see chapter 5.3.3) as, regardless of
the corresponding faders, the replay will automati-
cally stop at the end of a title or at the end of the CD
and the other player mechanism will start.

Copying MP3 Files from the Computer
on an SD Card
If your computer is equipped with an SD card reader,
this is the easiest way to copy the files on an SD
Mixer
card. If not, the CD-400PRO can be connected to
your computer and used for copying. For this pur-

pose, install an USB driver and the copy programme

"DJ MP3" on your computer. Both can be found on
the supplied CD-ROM "DJMP3 USB DRIVER".
There is also an English instruction manual in PDF
format on the CD.

8.1 Installing the USB driver
1) Insert the supplied CD "DJMP3 USB DRIVER"
into the CD-ROM drive of the computer.
2) Start the file "SETUP.EXE" in the folder "DRIV-
ER" and install the driver.

XP, click the button "No", as no restart is required
in this case.

klicken, denn hierbei ist kein Neustart erforderlich.
4) Den CD-Player ausschalten und die Buchse USB
(31) über das beiliegende Anschlusskabel mit der
USB-Schnittstelle des Computers verbinden.
5) Den CD-Player einschalten. Windows erkennt
das neu angeschlossene Gerät und öffnet das
Fenster „Hardware-Assistent".
6) Die Schaltfläche „Weiter" anklicken und das Ver-
zeichnis „DRIVER" der CD auswählen, in dem
sich der Treiber befindet.
7) Den weiteren Bildschirm-Instruktionen folgen, um
die Installation zu Ende zu führen. (Bei dem Be-
triebssystem Windows
®
XP erscheint das Fenster
„WARNUNG". Die Installation kann jedoch ohne
Bedenken fortgesetzt werden.)
8) Anschließend das Programm DJ MP3 installieren.
8.2 Kopierprogramm DJ MP3 installieren
1) Zuerst alle laufenden Windows-Programme be-
enden.
2) Im Verzeichnis „DJ MP3" der beiliegenden CD
die Datei „SETUP.EXE" starten.
3) Das Fenster „Welcome" erscheint. Falls noch
andere Windows-Programme geöffnet sind, mit
„Cancel" die Installation abbrechen und die Pro-
gramme schließen. Sonst die Hinweise zum Urhe-
berrecht durchlesen und mit „Next" fortfahren.
4) Das nächste Fenster „User Information" erscheint.
Hier Ihren Namen und die Firma eintragen. Die
Schaltfläche „Next" anklicken.
5) Im nächsten Fenster „Choose Destination Loca-
tion" wird das Verzeichnis „C\Programme\Music-
Station\DJ MP3" für die Installation vorgeschla-
gen. Entweder mit „Next" bestätigen oder über
„Browse" ein anderes Verzeichnis auswählen.
6) Im Fenster „Select Program Folder" wird das Ver-
zeichnis „DJ MP3" zur Ablage des Startsymbols
vorgeschlagen. Entweder mit „Next" bestätigen
oder zuvor in der Zeile „Program Folders" einen
anderen Namen eingeben oder aus dem Feld

USB interface of the computer.
5) Switch on the CD player. Windows recognizes
the new unit connected and opens the window
"Hardware Assistant".
6) Click the button "Next" and select the folder
"DRIVER" on the CD.
7) Follow the instructions on the screen to finish the
installation. (For the operating system Windows
XP, the window "WARNING" will appear. How-
ever, the installation can be continued without
any risk.)
8) Then install the programme DJ MP3.
8.2 Installing the copy programme DJ MP3
1) First close all open Windows programmes.
2) Start the file "SETUP.EXE" in the folder "DJ MP3"
of the supplied CD.
3) The "Welcome" window appears. If other Win-
dows programmes are still open, stop the instal-
lation with "Cancel" and close the programmes.
Otherwise read the copyright notice and continue
with "Next":
4) The next window "User Information" appears.
Enter your name and the company. Click the but-
ton "Next".
5) In the next window "Choose Destination Location",
the folder "C\Program\MusicStation\DJ MP3" is
suggested for installation. Either continue with
"Next" or select another folder via "Browse".
6) In the window "Select Program Folder", the folder
"DJ MP3" is suggested for filing the start symbol.
Either continue with "Next" or enter another name
beforehand in the line "Program Folder" or select
an existing folder from the field "Existing Fold-
ers".
7) In the next window "Start Copying Files" all input
data are listed. Either confirm with "Next" or
return with "Back" to correct the input data.
