4.8 Geschwindigkeit und Tonhöhe verändern
Um die Geschwindigkeit und damit gleichzeitig die
Tonhöhe zu ändern (±12 %), die Taste PITCH (15)
drücken. Die LED über der Taste leuchtet, und die
Geschwindigkeit kann nun mit dem Schieberegler
(18) verändert werden. Beim Betätigen des Schiebe-
reglers oder der Taste PITCH zeigt das Display für
einige Sekunden die prozentuale Abweichung von
der Standardgeschwindigkeit an (z. B. 03.5 = +3,5 %).
Mit der Taste PITCH (15) kann zwischen der mit
dem Schieberegler (18) eingestellten Geschwindig-
keit und der Standardgeschwindigkeit hin- und her-
geschaltet werden.
4.9 Takt angleichen
Ist ein zweiter CD-Spieler oder zusätzlich ein Plat-
tenspieler vorhanden, kann der Takt eines Titels auf
dem CD-Spieler an den eines Titels auf dem anderen
Gerät angeglichen werden. Zuerst muß die Taktzahl
pro Minute beider Titel mit dem Geschwindigkeits-
regler (18) angeglichen werden. Danach liegen die
Taktschläge beider Titel aber noch nicht unbedingt

4.8 Changing the speed and pitch
For changing the speed and at the same time the
pitch (±12 %), press the PITCH button (15). The LED
above the button lights and the pitch can then be
changed via the slide control (18). When operating
the slide control or the PITCH button, the display
shows the deviation of the standard speed in percent
for a few seconds (e. g. 03.5 = +3.5 %).
By using the PITCH button (15), it is possible to
switch between the speed adjusted with the slide
control (18) and the standard speed.
4.9 Matching of the beat
If a second CD player or a turntable is connected, the
beat of a title of the CD player can be matched to that
of another title of the other unit. At first, the beats per
minute of both titles must be matched with the pitch
übereinander. Dazu die Taste PITCH BEND - oder +
(17) so lange gedrückt halten, bis die Taktschläge
übereinanderliegen. Solange eine der Tasten PITCH
BEND gedrückt gehalten wird, läuft der Titel etwas
langsamer (Taste -) oder schneller (Taste +), und die
rote LED über der Taste PITCH (15) blinkt.
4.10 Umschalten zwischen Einzel- und Ge-
samttitelwiedergabe
Nach dem Einschalten steht das Gerät immer auf
Einzeltitelwiedergabe; das Display zeigt „PLAY 1". Ist
ein Titel zu Ende gespielt, schaltet das Gerät auf
Pause. Soll jedoch automatisch der nächste Titel

gespielt werden, muß mit der Taste SINGLE/ CON-
TINUE (3) auf Gesamttitelwiedergabe geschaltet
werden. Die Anzeige „PLAY 1" erlischt.
Zum Zurückschalten auf Einzeltitelwiedergabe die
Taste SINGLE/CONTINUE (3) erneut betätigen.

Faderstart
Der CD-Spieler kann mit dem Öffnen eines Misch-
pult-Faders gestartet und beim Schließen des
Faders wieder gestoppt werden. Am Mischpult dür-
fen die Faderstartkontakte mit Masse verbunden
sein, jedoch nicht mit einer Spannung!
Damit es nicht zu einer Fehlfunktion kommen
kann, zuerst den CD-Spieler und das Mischpult aus-
schalten. Die Faderstartbuchse am Mischpult über
ein entsprechendes Verbindungskabel (siehe Abb. 3)
an die Buchse START/PAUSE (22) anschließen.
Über die Mischpult-Monitorfunktion kann bei
geschlossenem Fader für den CD-Spieler ein Titel
vorgehört werden:
1) Mit der Taste
Titel springen.
2) Die Taste CUE 1 (7) gedrückt halten. Der Titel
spielt so lange, wie die Taste gedrückt wird.
3) Nach dem Loslassen der Taste CUE 1 springt das
Gerät auf den Titelanfang zurück. Zum Starten
des Titels den Fader aufziehen.

4.10 Switching over between individual and

After switching on, the unit is always set to individual
title reproduction; the display shows "PLAY 1". If a title
is finished, the unit switches to pause. If the next title
is to be played automatically, switch to continuous title
reproduction with the SINGLE/CONTINUE button (3).
The display "PLAY 1" expires.
For switching back to individual title reproduction,
press the SINGLE/CONTINUE button (3) again.

Fader Start
The CD player can be started by opening a mixer
fader and is stopped by closing the fader. The fader
start contacts may be connected with ground, but not
to a voltage!
In order to avoid a malfunction, switch off the CD
player and the mixer first. Connect the fader start
jack at the mixer via a corresponding connection
cable (see figure 3) to the START/PAUSE jack (22).
Via the mixer monitoring function a title can be
monitored if the fader for the CD player is closed.
1) Select the desired title with the
ton.
2) Keep the CUE 1 button (7) pressed. The title is
played as long as the button is pressed.
3) After releasing the CUE 1 button, the unit jumps
back to the beginning of the title. For starting the
title, open the fader.
