7 Taste CUE 1 zum Anspielen eines Titels und für
den automatischen Rücksprung zu einer ge-
wünschten Stelle, siehe Kapitel 4.3 „Anspielen
eines Titels" bzw. Kapitel 4.6 „Automatischer
Rücksprung auf eine gewünschte Stelle"
8 Taste LOOP zum mehrfachen Wiederholen eines
bestimmten Abschnitts, siehe Kapitel 4.7 „Be-
stimmten Abschnitt wiederholen"
9 Taste CUE 2 zum Anspielen eines Titels und zum
Festlegen des Startpunktes zur Wiederholung
eines bestimmten Abschnitts, siehe Kapitel 4.3

stimmten Abschnitt wiederholen"
10 Taste PLAY/PAUSE, jedes Betätigen dieser Taste

11 Tasten SEARCH für den Vor- und Rücklauf.
Wird eine der Tasten gedrückt gehalten, fährt der
CD-Spieler zuerst langsam und nach einiger Zeit
schneller vor bzw. zurück. Bei der Einzeltitelwie-
dergabe („PLAY 1" wird angezeigt) fährt der Vor-
bzw. Rücklauf nur bis zum Titelende bzw.
-anfang.

14 Taste STOP zum Beenden des Abspielens
15 Taste PITCH zum Aktivieren der mit dem Regler
(18) eingestellten Geschwindigkeit. Zum Abspie-

Taste nicht gedrückt werden.
16 Taste +10 zum Anwählen von Titeln in Zehner-
schritten. Mit jedem Tastendruck werden 10 Titel
weitergesprungen.

9 CUE 2 button for short monitoring of a title and for
determining the starting point for repeating a spe-
cial section, see chapter 4.3 "Short monitoring of
a title" resp. chapter 4.7 "Repeat of a special sec-
tion"
10 PLAY/PAUSE button, each time this button is
pressed, the unit will change between reproduc-
tion (display
) and pause (display )
11 SEARCH buttons for quick advance resp. re-
verse run.
If one of the buttons is kept pressed, at first the
CD player goes slowly and after some time it
advances resp. reverses more quickly. During the
individual title reproduction ("PLAY 1" is dis-
played), the advance/reverse run goes only until
the end resp. the beginning of a title.
17 Tasten PITCH BEND zur Synchronisation des

Alle Anschlüsse nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät vor-
nehmen bzw. verändern.
1) Die Ausgangsbuchsen LINE OUT (20) über
Cinch-Kabel mit dem CD-Eingang am Mischpult
oder Verstärker verbinden.
Ist am Mischpult oder Verstärker ein Digitalein-
gang vorhanden, sollte dieser über ein entspre-
chendes Verbindungskabel mit dem Digitalaus-
gang (19) verbunden werden.
2) Zum automatischen Starten und Stoppen durch ein
Mischpult die Buchse START/PAUSE (22) über ein
Verbindungskabel mit dem Mischpult verbinden
(siehe Kapitel 5 „Faderstart").
3) Zum Schluß den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose
(230V~/50 Hz) stecken.

Connecting the Unit
All connections must only be performed resp.
changed if the unit is switched off.
1) Connect the output jacks LINE OUT (20) via a
shielded cable to the CD input at the mixer or
amplifier.
If a digital input is available at the mixer or
amplifier, it should be connected to the digital out-
put (19) via a corresponding connection cable.

Bedienung
4.1 CD abspielen
1) Mit dem Ein-/Ausschalter POWER (2) das Gerät
einschalten. Wenn keine CD eingelegt ist, zeigt
das Display (1) nach kurzer Zeit „nodisc".
2) Mit der Taste OPEN (13) die CD-Fachklappe
öffnen. Im Display erscheint „OPEN".
3) Eine CD mit der Beschriftung nach oben einle-
gen. Die CD-Fachklappe (12) mit der Hand
schließen. Nach kurzer Zeit zeigt das Display die
Gesamttitelzahl und die Gesamtspieldauer der
CD an. Anschließend wird die Spieldauer des
ersten Titels angegeben.
4) Mit der Taste
(10) das Abspielen des ersten
Titels starten. Soll mit einem anderen Titel gestar-
tet werden, zuerst die Taste
die Taste +10 (16) so oft drücken, bis die ge-
wünschte Titelnummer im Display erscheint.
Dann das Abspielen mit der Taste
Solange die CD abgespielt wird, zeigt das Display
das Symbol
, und das Tastensymbol
tet.
5) Das Abspielen kann jederzeit mit der Taste
unterbrochen werden. Im Display erscheint das
Pausensymbol
, und das Tastensymbol
blinkt. Zum Weiterspielen der CD die Taste
noch einmal drücken.
6) Nach dem Einschalten steht das Gerät immer auf
Einzeltitelwiedergabe; das Display zeigt „PLAY 1".
Ist ein Titel zu Ende gespielt, schaltet das Gerät
auf Pause. Soll jedoch automatisch der nächste
Titel gespielt werden, muß mit der Taste SINGLE/
CONTINUE (3) auf Gesamttitelwiedergabe ge-
schaltet werden. Die Anzeige „PLAY 1" erlischt.
7) Während des Abspielens oder auch bei einge-
schalteter Pause kann mit den Tasten
(6) sowie der Taste +10 (16) ein anderer Titel
angewählt werden. Mit jedem Betätigen der Taste
wird ein Titel weitergesprungen, und mit der
Taste +10 werden zehn Titel weitergesprungen.
2) For the automatic start and stop via a mixer,
connect the START/PAUSE jack (22) to the mixer
via a connection cable (see chapter 5 "Fader
Start").
3) Finally, plug the mains plug into a mains socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).

Operation
4.1 Playing a CD
1) Turn on the unit with the on/off switch POWER
(2). If no CD has been inserted, the display (1) will
show "nodisc" after a short time.
2) Open the cover of the CD player mechanism with
the OPEN button (13). "OPEN" appears on the
display.
3) Insert a CD with the lettering on top. Close the
cover of the CD player mechanism (12) manually.
After a short time the display shows the total num-
ber of titles and the total playing time of the CD.
Afterwards, the playing time of the first title is
shown.
4) Start the first title with the
starting with another title, first press the
ton (6) and, if desired the +10 button (16), as
many times until the desired title number appears
in the display. Then start the reproduction with the
button. As long as the CD is played, the
symbol
appears in the display and the button
symbol
lights.
5) The reproduction can be interrupted at any time
with the
button. The pause symbol

button to continue the reproduction

6) After switching on, the unit is always set to
individual title reproduction; the display shows
"PLAY 1". If a title is at its end, the unit switches to
pause. In order to automatically play the next title,
it is necessary to switch to continuous title repro-
